i don't see how you people shit yourselves for half-rate judd apatow comedies, and yet you can't enjoy (in some aspects) a very well-made movie? besides the fact that it was way too long and the story and dialog were shit, i would say that the movie was visually spectacular and that the last battle was pretty badass. if they dropped the shitty story and it was 2 hours of violence and crazy shit, i would say that avatar was destined to be a classic.

Judd Apatow comedies do blow ass. And I'm going to preempt you and also say Wes Anderson's movies are shit as well.

The only thing Avatar had going for it was the graphics, and if video games have taught me anything, it's that graphics alone don't mean shit.
