That was sick Rob!!! How are u finding them?? :DWell, first two sessions were kinda crappy, they hurt my feet in weird spots and I wasnt used to them, 3rd session I skated amazing and fell in love, then this was the 4th session. Ive decided im going to skate everyday from now on as long as I can so its going to be very interesting. I feel like im totally used to them and I absolutely love them, I will be getting another pair for sure.

Im so happy to hear that!!
I just got an email from Ricardo Lino saying the same thing, he asked me for some thrones just after getting carbons because they hurt and i told him to hang in there, and 2 weeks later he sends me an email saying they are the best and most comfortable things ever, with an email entitled "carbons are perfect" Glad your enjoying them, I was eager to hear that!!
rob, i love you, but you floridians are not allowed to use the term "cold".
actually thats false. I'm a floridian, and it's cold as shit right now, unusually cold. And i'm from washington state, which is colder than New York. It feels like it's gonna snow in Florida.
and that edit was dope. true kg perfectly.

Thanks for all the positive feed back guys im so juiced on these skates. Any one on the fence right now about these should just go for it. I took a chance on these for sure and im so glad I did.

Oli - how come the carbons have this break in time? Is it because the last has some odd shapes? Or just because the materials are quite stiff?
Is this something that could be addressed in the future, or something people just have to bear with (like walking boots)?
I'm tempted to try some Carbons, but i'm concerned with the high cost compared to how much i actually blade these days.

I'm tempted to try some Carbons, but i'm concerned with the high cost compared to how much i actually blade these days.Because they are made of carbon fiber like speed skates and are much more rigid. The padding is also the heatmolding kind so you need to skate them a bunch for them to form to your foot and be comfy.

Since they have broken in, are you just used to it or have they actually become comfortable?
I can only imagine it would be pretty tough to admit that 315 dollar skates are not comfortable and need affirmation that they become comfortable, before I pull the trigger on them.

I can only imagine it would be pretty tough to admit that 315 dollar skates are not comfortable and need affirmation that they become comfortable, before I pull the trigger on them. They ARE really comfortable out of the box, they just have pressure points due to the thicker padding until it forms to your foot so it can rub or push on your foot until they shape to you. They are very comfy now skating but my feet still hurt a little after skating them for a while but they are no where near fully broken in. And yea blake said the same thing to me about it being tough to admit such a pricey skate isnt anything but amazing haha. They have deff. surpassed my expectations of them already though and im really glad I chose to get them.

Maybe set a little time aside to just cruise around and really get used to how they skate? It helped for me because at first I wasnt used to the heel rise.
I went from Xsjados to Dooshi Cabron and
I feel SO much more comfortable and confident on these its ridic.
I want to try a pair of USD Carbons.
Ian they are sooooo much better then the dooshis.
Well I think they're sexy.

And those white laces you gave me broke already
I tied them back together in the middle and they're working alright for now, but they look like they're gonna break in a few other places too :x

damn, i feel like im missing out by getting those white deshi carbons. but it is a deal that can not be ignored. does anybody know if the deshi carbons have this same wear-in time?
i think it might be good for progression to finally have some light non-moonboot skates though.
dont forget....wall of jericho...

i feel like my deshis are mostly broken in and i've only had two sessions with them
I dont think it should make or break your decision regardless. Skates need break in time no matter what brand. The deshis have less padding so I would assume it forms to your foot a little quicker.

o no, im not worried about the break in time at all. i still dont think ive totally broke in my remz, and ive had them for at least 6 months. but thats not why i dont skate them.
i was actually liking the thought of having my feet hurt for a few sessions as motivation to skate more. obviously for having (according to most) the comfiest skates ever.
i just wanna know if the deshis are as comfy as the usds after being broke in.

I dont think ive ever enjoyed blading as much as I did this week. These skates are incredible. Ive been skating 8 days straight, not a single blister and they feel sooooooooooo good now.
