What a strange man. I heard of him awhile ago and really got into his art/music when I saw the documentary The Devil and Daniel Johnston. Anyways I've been out in Melbourne shooting different events and got asked to shoot his show last night at the Prince.

DJ is just too sad of a story now. He is overweight from the amount of medication he has been on for so many years. I didn't go see him in los angeles a few years back because I though it would have been depressing, I regret it though. I don't want to see what is to come for him when his parents pass away and someone else will be in charge of taking care of him.

Thanks Brian. I wish I could go to BCSD. I'm in Australia for another month or 2. All depends on if I'm going up to Sydney for the Australian MTV music awards.

So hopefully next year I'll make it to BCSD since the last one I went to was in 08 with the crew.

His brother takes him overseas to gigs.
They cashed in their tickets when their was a problem with their jet and it needed less people for weight issues and he said him, his bro and a freind got $800 cash each and a free ticket for the next flight.
