-poor man's tooth whitening solution: a bottle of hydrogen peroxide mixed with some baking soda. dilute it with some water. tooth whitening products range from 25 to hundreds for a professional job. rinse twice daily.

-i'm particular to wine in a box. equivalent to 6 and 2/3 bottles of wine, for US $10

-mineral oil: by-product of petroleum. costs like a dollar. excellent bearing lubricant

Getting your dog put down could set you back as much as $200.

I find that burying it alive, cost next to nothing.

Wine in a box is everywhere, liquor stores or however your state sells wine would be the first place to look.

Mine is gonna sound gross but don't knock it until you try it.

Go to trader joes and get the 'handmade tortillas' then you get a pack of bologna. Only works if you have a gas stove. Lay the tortillas right on the flame until a little browned, then do the same with bologna. Roll up in tortilla, BOLOGNARITTO!

$4 will last quite a while.

when low on cash, i cancel my comcast internet and cable.

Then i masturbate and read a lot of books. I also find myself in the library a lot more and I get better grades.

Then I get paid and I'm back on the internet, while watching something On Demand, with a bottle a liquor in my hand while waiting for my taxi to the stip club.

Pretty much this. Except without canceling internet/cable.

Make use of the library, join book clubs (I've resorted to online communities), and spend all day reading.

Buying TV shows on blu-ray is also amazing. $50 earns me a good 10+ hours of passive entertainment.

Here they call that a goon sack, take the bag out of the box and slap that bitch, hang it on a clothes rack, spin it and play goon of fortune. When your done, inflate the bag and use as a pillow.

another good game with your box wine is to do a "tour de franzia". People form teams of 4, and it's a race to see who finishes their boxed wine fastest.

go to your local food pantry and show them your social security card.
if your income is low enough, they will provide you enough food to last for a full month.

The reason I asked was because I knew box wine had up to 7 bottles of liquid in there.
Plus I don't drink wine.

*Ramen
*Quesdillas
*King Cobras
*Flour
*Eggs
*Used bread machine

Best investment, is the 6 dollar breadman bread maker. Makes like 3-4 loafs with a single 3 dollar bag of flour.

stop by pizzerias right before they close, you can usually get a couple extra slices for free cause they're gonna chuck them anyways

when i ride back to my house real late i stop by bagel shops sometimes to check their dumpster, 99% of the time there's a messload of bagels completely untouched in plastic.

I don't like bologna, but for some reason when my mom rolls it up around a small stick of cheese...it's good. Her mom used to make them for her.

expensive grocery stores like whole foods and trader joes throw out entire crates of perfectly ripe fruits and vegetables, but they stack them neatly and cleanly in dumpsters. i like to take as much as possible and if i have a lot left over i bring them to homeless shelters.
bakeries and delis always have 'day old bread' they are willing to give away for free either at the end of the day or in the morning, all you have to do is ask.
you can shoplift up to $20 of merchandise of from walmart and they will not prosecute you, this is even somewhere on their website.
farmer's markets always have a shit ton of free samples of cheeses, meats, etc., if you're slick you can get two days worth or more of free food.
if you're going to eat out, get something like chinese or thai where you can get two full meals out of 6 or 7 bucks.
as you can see i haven't had a job since september.

you fiddy cent dawg

-remember as soon as its on toast, its meal.

I ate beans on toast for a week, and mi goreng noodles are like 50 cents a packet, also if you buy like multipurpose shower product can double as like shampoo, soap and deodorant all in 1!!!

gatsby

i'm one step ahead of you; i definitely do not buy showering products

you can get your body clean with hot water and some hard scrubbing with a washcloth

shampoo is bad for your hair anyways

fruit and vegetables in general are a great cheap food

i get a bundle of bananas, or whatever the proper term is, for like 2 dollars

get a jar of peanut butter and that is a healthy, high calorie meal

also, this is shady- basically theft, but whenever i'm in a grocery mart i open up a carton of whatever snack and i just munch on it while i shop. i either finish the box or just stash the remainders in one of the aisles when it's time to check out

I usually do the beans and rice, eggs and toast, and a bunch of veggies if I am in survival mode. water only. oh and raw almonds and bannas are the best on the go snack.

I was riding my bike behind a henry's (wholefoods/traderjoes) and they were throwing out a shit load of produce (they lock it up), I asked the guy working there why he was doing it and he got all nervous and told me it was his job, I could totally feel that he hated doing it and felt like shit for it.

I always have the best times when I am broke because It forces me to appreciate the little things again, it grouds me.
