View Full Version : My Deshi Carbon review.
Fit: The skates fit true to size pretty much. I wear a size 10.5-11 sneaker and these 10.5's fit perfect.
Look: Well, the skates look really small which I love about them, and they also look really stylish. You can see from the pictures plastered all over the internet.
Weight: These are the lightest skates I have ever felt. They seriously make Razor SL's feel like cinderblocs on your feet. That is saying a lot since that is supposed to be the lightest hardboot skate on the market. I set the Carbons up like that and had my size 9 Nimhs with just frames on them and the Carbons were still waaay lighter.
Flex/Support: I group these two together because the skate has the perfect mix of both. It flexes with your natual ankle movements as you skate, but it supports you with them as well. They feel like the skates move with you, instead of you moving with the skates. These skates feel like they will last a long time too, and I have skated the Ch1's before, but these feel nothing like those skates. They feel like they will stay the same exact way, but just mold more to your skating instead of warping out and not being supportive anymore.
Soulplates: The souls are straight up amazing. They make you feel so close to the grind without all that extra shit around. The backslide plate is perfect too. It's not too deep and not too shallow, but it locks onto your royale or farv tricks good enough for you to wear your own groove in there over some time. They slide really fast too. Slide like ice. haha

Although I ordered them myself, I can't agree that they look stylish... So you wear a 9 Nimh but a 10.5 Carbon?

Why don't you think they look good? Once I got them I thought they were the best looking skates I've ever had. I wear a size 9 Nimh V2 with the toes cut up to the first eyelet. The Vicious liners let me do it, because they mold to my feet really well and stretch out. I just got these in a 10.5, because everybody says they fit true. I would have been mad if I had gotten any other size, because these are the perfect size for me.

Yes, a large Kizer frame. Just got back from my 2nd session in them and I must say my heels are kind of sore. I have skated hard trying to break these skates in a little, but they are really resiliant. I think they will last a long time. I have only got one small minor blister, but it's my fault for wearing low top socks with these skates. They are really responsive and they feel great on my feet other than that. I did ally oop top acid both ways on my practice rail today and I've never even attempted that trick before. I also did front farvs both ways too. Amazing skates. Simply amazing.

Thanks man. You really should look into them. I'd suggest them highly. Amazing skates. The only change to these skates could be the insoles and that's not even necessary. It's just so perfect.

yea dude
i used to be all about razors
but since i skated the cabrons i couldnt skate the razors anymore
salomons are the closest things to cabron and i fucking love my salomons right now
most perfect plastic skate ever made.
but
i would rathe rbe skating carbons
so yea
probably check them out
and im a 7 or 8 in salos and would be a 7 or 8 in carbons
the 9s felt pretty big

The insoles on the carbons are thin as hell, and the shock absorber is pretty shitty and tall and just slides around for me at least.
The SWS ones are gel, and not raised, they have a heel cup.
They stick to the bottom of the boot and don't slide around.
The gel insoles help with some shock absorption and make a very stiff boot a little softer.
I love the way it feels, ask the nap, he did the same as I.
Maybe he feels the same way.

Ok, so I just finished my 4th or 5th session with these skates and I must say they are simply amazing. I have progressed so much within the week I have had them that it is ridiculous. I can jump higher as well. Get these skates!
