I just finished watching Wake UP and this film is really fucking good.
Joey Chase spent at least 30% of time of his section in midair... crazy shit

The video is a real good buy

From one filmmaker to another... if you read this Jon, you did a great job. I want to go skate now.

yes favorite video out right now for sure. I watch it pretty much every day, This is how skate videos need to be made from now on and the music was very good in it as well.

Good video but I can't over the fact that.........EVERY TRICK IS FILMED AND SHOWN TWICE, IT IS FUCKING RETARDED. First couple times I watched it I couldn't get through the whole thing in one sitting till I realized, hey I am watching every trick twice, COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not.

fisheye is used wayyyy too much in blading videos these days

we're not skateboarders, we skate big shit so long lense is necisary to see the entire trick

ya lot of long lens shots in there but the shots were flawless and showed the scale of the obstacles.

well the reason for the long lens shots were because Jon doesnt have the Centry optics extreme fisheye just yet. If you noticed he only used fisheye when he used clips of vinny minton and Connor O Brian and thats because they both have the set up. I will admit that I personally like fisheye I actually thought the video was amazing even without it. I feel like only a few rollerbladers have learned how to properly use a fisheye. Even I still have alot of learning to do and ive been shooting for the last five years with a century mark 1(best lens ever made).I think thats why rollerbladers are so sick of it though. Jon knows what he's doing for sure and I barely even know him so its not like I am trying to kiss his ass or anything...ok maybe I am.

Ya I am a filmmaker. I made Signature and A thru Z. I'm also working on a bunch film projects outside of rollerblading scene right now. I think that qualifies me as a filmmaker. Who the fuck are you to talk shit to me anyway? I took the time out to post up that i thought Jon's video was sick as hell and your talking shit to me?

The only thing i dislike is the amount of easy tricks, especially for the people doing them. Joey Chase on the other hand made me wanna go gap from the roof.
