Just looking for some opinions.

I've skated
Salomons
Old Razors
Genesys Style Razors
and now USD

I've screwed around with Remz/Deshis/Roces for a few months each not my thing. Probably just those models but still.

Anyway, I'm at the point where I go skating time to time and it's not like the past where I get skates just to try them out because I was skating all the time. I'm leaving the USD's (Old Rachard Thrones) because they are narrow with the reigns and hurt my feet. I had the similar problems with Old Razors but dealt with it.

I'm thinking the New Style Razors Icon 2, Xsjado's. I'm iffy about Nihms/Valo and probably wouldn't get Rollerblade.

Basically give me some feedback on Xsjado/New Razors/Nihms/Valos based on someone who like Genesys style Razors, or compare them to UFS Thrones.

That's what I figured because of their shells.

salomons
Nice reading skills.

As for RB, I'm just concerned about their flex and fit, The DT5 or Point 8's don't seem to have changed much from Details besides cuff and new midsoul style it seems like.

What area of Classic Thrones and Cults were too narrow? The heel/ankle, the arch, the forefoot? What size do you wear? What did you like about the Genesys?

umm rollerblade came out with a completely new boot, cuff and soul plate. im sure you probably know this but it doesn't seem like it from your post(you only mention the dt5 and point 8 )

The arch/inside ankle area area, I have flat feet, so in Cults I would get crazy blisters on the insides of my ankles. With the Thrones, it's the same thing, just not as bad. I'm an 11. I guess what I liked about the Genesys style Razors is mainly they didn't hurt my feet  , as I found them to be more roomy. I don't find them that different from the UFS Thrones, just maybe the Razors had a bit more flex, but skating wise it isn't a big transition for me besides narrowness.

Yeah, those just look out of the question, I didn't even bother mentioning them because it never crossed my mind to buy them.

Ok, that makes sense. Cults are a 10-11 shell and Thrones are an 11-13, so even though the Thrones are generally a narrower fit than Cults (when comparing the same boot sizes), the 11 Throne didn't dig in for you because it was a size 13 shell and thus wider.

Nimhs would be out of the question as they use the same shell as the Cults. M12's/Valos as well, they're even narrower than the Cults. Thrones are out because riding a shell that's two sizes too big just for arch width is retarded.

If the Cults fit you well everywhere else but the arch, you might be able to do the SL boot. It's a little less narrow in the arch and the heel/ankle than the Cults.

Xsjados are probably a sure bet to not hurt your feet, but they feel and skate differently than hardboots and not everyone likes or can get used to it.

So I'd say SL's or Genesys if you want a more conventional hardboot feel, and Xsjados if you want to try something new.

Yeah, that's what I figured about Nihms and M12/Valo.

I'll probably end up going with Icons unless I try someones Xsjados.

And yes, my current skates are definitely boats.
