DSLR HD Shootout

Some of you may have missed this great series last week. I consider it a must watch for anyone considering shooting HD video on a Digital SLR. It's a professional comparison of the top HD capable SLR's vs. Traditional Film.

Yeah, i saw this a few days ago. Really secures my decision to shoot my new short film on a 5D.

Dont forget they tested all these right agaisnt the leading medium for film making. I was amazed at the Lattitude they produced. Im purchasing a 5D mkII and a 7D this week. Im excited to see what I can do with them.

Yall should also check out philip blooms timelapse work with it to.

I just shot a short with the 7d for the first time and a.c on another. shit is legit minus a billion problems with the camera. Latitude is not that fantastic, you will see that when you shoot outside with some hard light. Funny no one really talks about how many stops of light you can expose... im guessing 8. Best thing about the camera is lighting for low light levels and choice of glass.

Check it... Suppose to look like pulled film. Low con with hazy rounded blacks Like eternal sunshine or buffalo 66,' with of course natural looking light.
