It's a pretty good idea (meaning the wheel setup) that was crippled by terrible inner wheels that exploded/decored/chunked almost immediately, and a groove that was a smidge too wide/shallow to really cover the inner wheels. The inner axles blew too.
Eulogy made a great replacement wheel (the Sphinx 47/92) but by the time it came out the next generation of frame was already out or about to be out. It was/is a great setup if you can find a pair that isn't grooved for antirocker and get some of the Eulogys set up in there.
Most people rode them antirocker with the GC rattlers and loved them like that though, basically a freestyle frame at that point though. You can ride natural-rocker ("hi-lo") in the DI's too, you just need the elusive inner axle hardware.

Hilo is the best frames setup ive ever skated
but i use DIs cause they slide faster (even tho they were super quick on ledges)
I think the groove isnt bad
i almost never catch on trick with these frames.
for middle wheels ive been using eulogy sigils worn down to 47
and theyve been lasting me forever.
also riding hilo prevents the di frames form warping like they did on anti
it pushes that walls out in just the right places.
yea
if you can find all the parts i highly recommend skating hilo
i just wish they made a size extra small :(

I skated them heavily but I am looking for a new frame set-up to skate flat. I blame my lack of skills on hardware shortcomings.
hi-lo's want me
and i want them

I meant to copy and paste this to another thread where some kid was asking about hi-los.
