who uses it? anyone sell their stuff on it? i need some money quick and wouldnt mind selling some stuff

Getty is like having your images sold by Tesco, dont be surprised if your profit isnt all too impressive. Getty is also a company that has shot itself in the foot abit, it has driven the price of stock down so much it may find it hard to sustain. I think professional photographers who upload their archives and libraries of images on getty with a commissioned job or stock in mind at the time of taking the photographs can only really use those sites as a way of giving a small boost to their income.Also ask yourself... What're your pictures appropriate for aswell? Why would somebody buy this image and for what purpose? etc. Sure you might be able to sell your holiday snaps but apart from that I wouldnt bank on it. Only thong you'll lose is time so I suppose it's worth a shot.
