If you really want to understand his motives for material, just sit down and have a chat with one of his die hard fans about his music, after a minute or so it will all make sense and you'll want to shake his hand for being such a genious. I swear his fans were produced in a factory with the sole intent of making him filthy rich regardless of what he puts out.

the soft rock thing was a little corny... the theme is lame, but i could see potential in this. Never heard much from lil wayne though.

There's a few Wayne songs that are produced and thought out well,
but most of it is just him being fucked up out of his mind and tryin' to make even MORE money,
even if the words do sound stupid.
However much Lil wayne sucks, contemporary rock sucks worse. In this way, Rebirth and all Wayne's "rock" songs, created through a rapper's understanding of what rock is based on listening to nothing but modern radio rock (or possibly not listening to any at all, just gleaning it from commercials and such), are in fact pretty good parodies.
However, I don't think he realized he was making parodies, and I don't care to listen to any of it.

actually, you are missing a lot, and anyone who can say that you aren't missing much has not been listening very hard. His rock stuff, though, does suck.

he can freestyle, but as far as i'm concerned thats it. i don't know, maybe i'm just sick of hearing about him. he's really the only thing any of my friends listen to, so it gets old. he sure figured out how to make money, though.
The reason lil Wayne is so populer is because he is alway putting out new shit same with gucci people just like to here new shit

He's so rich
rich enough to spark a previously intoxicated conversation of cash money records vs the government..

in regards to Obama's remark about how you shouldn't grow up to be like lil wayne.
