I just showed her Insane Clown Posse for the first time, she had no idea who they were or who juggalos were... She watched "Miracles" and now she will never look at the world the same again, pure mother fucking magic.

BTW- your acting like not knowing who those assclowns are is a bad thing..
Your girlfriends is lucky
If I wasn't from Michigan i probably wouldn't know who they were.
I was super sheltered. Mostly by being oblivious to everything though. Not really my parents fault.
I would have never heard of ICP if it weren't for all of the posts making fun of them, their music and their fans on this board.

haha i've know about icp for 15 years and i'm usually pretty behind on music
i found out about them when i moved to colorado. all the dudes here have taught me alot about icp i'm just waiting for the moment when i actually see one in person
Before I even knew what a juggalo was I hated their music. I remember my friend would bring their cds over to my house to listen. I'd dog on it so hard.

never hearing of ICP isnt being sheltered , its called being lucky. waste of life right there
I had no choice. Our school was packed with those goofballs. I also had a really good friend that lived down the street from me that became a hardcore juggalo for like a year. Luckily puberty killed that off.

I'm calling bullshit. I'm willing to bet good money that "friend" of yours was actually you. You seem like the type.

Ok so maybe this was a bad example of how sheltered my girlfriend was, here is a better one:
She did not know that one could rent a house until about 6 months ago, she thought you had to buy one.
I fucking HATE juggalos.. I used to be friends with one, but he was wayyy too retarded to even have a real conversation with. They're all over the place in SW Ohio... They should all be put in concentration camps and forced to destroy all evidence of ICP's pathetic existence.

And I found out about them when my friend got the Terror Wheel EP for his 13th birthday. That party turned into an ICP-listening party, as we (like 10 of us) all gathered around his little boombox in the garage and experienced what was --at the time-- the most edgy, diverse, gross and funny musical group around. (Keep in mind we also grew up on 2 Live Crew.)
Funny thing is --and the lot of you will probably have a hard time comprehending this-- from about '93 to '96, it was completely okay to have their shit in your musical library, and in some circles, it was expected if you were part of the hip, rebellious, skater crowd. ICP had casual listeners through a good portion of the 90's as opposed to their fanbase now consisting solely of diehard fans. It really wasn't until around 2000 (when juggalo culture became more defined) that their popularity took a nosedive.
But that's all fine and dandy. Hate on, be-fagz!

....Hm. I can believe that. I def hated them from the get-go, though.

The first time I heard of them was when Disney signed them to their record label without even listening to any of their music, they just figured a semi edgy rap group with clowns would be just what the youth of the time wanted to hear. Then after finding out they were all about murder and mayhem they axed their contract haha.
...I actually just googled them and listened to a couple songs for the first time in 10 years. They're fascinating, in the worst way possible.

yea dude, i find them pretty damn interesting as a subculture. I don't get it but those dudes still have a huge core following and they were fairly popular in the midst of the hip-hop / metal infusion that was so popular in mid to late 90's (Korn, Limp Bizkit) It's pretty damn similar to Limp Bizkit and they got way more popular than ICP so its not thaaaat surprising they had a more than just the core juggalo thing at that time

Those are pretty good and all, but that site is lacking what is probably the funniest verse those two dudes ever conjured up.
From the song "Headless Boogie" off the Riddle Box album (released in 1995):
"Take a step back, twist and dive. (Yeah!)
I even seen Kurt Cobain gettin' live! *shotgun blast*"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9qSHYRA6dA
And if you don't bob your head to that beat, well... methinks you just bein a herb.

thats so great. its like you dress up as an "insane clown" and listen to lyrics such as the ones listed above. get over yourself, accept that you like something utterly ridiculous... kinda reminds me of how pissed i used to get at people not understanding rollerblading when i was in high school, but obviously their subculture is way way farther off the mainstream. and with that, they might have more of a following than our community .... wild
