It was a street contest. What do you expect? Maybe I should've stayed true to the street contest format, and selected an ankle high ledge to start on. That way we could watch back and forth, back and forth for a hour. Then session the rail. That would've been so much better and really entertaining for attendees:roll:

Also when I selected the spot, I could've given a fuck about what the rest of the world perceives the event as. That shit was fire beginning to end. That spot is about the best spot one could find for an illegal street event. I mean how many completely secluded by 4 wall stair rails have your ever skated? That place creates a cage fight atmosphere that is amazing for the people who came (who the event is intended for btw).

Oh but don't worry. Since that didn't entertain you or the rest of your non-skating friends, this year's event is park contest . That way you can see a variety of park manuears that I oh so hope will make you satisfied. Hopefully anybody nonrelated to skating will see it and finally accept us as legit.

As much as I like hearing about rolling from non rolling media we don't need to give up those roots entirely. As you were saying the cage fight enviorment is a great experience for all those in attendance, especially in large numbers.

Someone laces an ill trick at a spot, everyones going crazy, no music, nobody is standing arounds ramps, everyone is just there fueling the moment. Shit is awesome.
