Then maybe sometimes he decides to rejoin the pro game and start winning contests and becoming Valo's new pro. Some days he decides to be Julio's right hand man and head up the business at Them Goods. Other days he's working magic behind a video camera. Some days he's quiet and laid back, and other days he is good buddies with Jack and inventing new dance moves. Today however, he's answering all the questions you've been waiting to ask him. Whats your opinion on the WRS and do you feel that not having a selected pannel of judges that travel to every event can still create a properly structured ranking system?

I mean really, what are the pros of having random judges at each event? It doesnt say on the website how they judge events or anything like that but they keep using the words "structured ranking system"....I personally don't see how the WRS is structured in anyway if they can't define how contests are judged.



This is a quote from their website......"The World Rolling Series (WRS) has been created to unite the inline skate community by teaming with established Professional and Amateur events/organizations worldwide, creating a ranking system that will set a defining line between the individual levels of talent within the sport, developing a structured series of professional events, maintaining the integrity of our Blading Culture, and focusing on promotion and increased participation."


This is a really awesome sentence too but it isn't backed by any sort of explaination.They fail to define how the ranking system works. They just give a supposed competitor hypothetical points depending on what place in the contest that competitor was judged to be in. But if every contest has different judges then it doesn't make sense or seem fair on how these judges get to their conclusions...

I really do have a problem when I look at the rankings and see slop fest cj wellsmore as 5th in the world...does that bother you too or does he "shred hard" ?

I personally don't understand how the pros at that contest were cool with letting that happen...

oh well maybe you can clear things up...I mean no disrespect I am really just honestly baffled and confused....


ps. running off on a complete tangent, I noticed sean and I's winterclash edit wasnt on the wrs website but sure enough all the other sloppy goomba edits sure made the cut....whats up with that?
