How does what I say negate my argument? You can decide to ignore what I said because of my comment, but it doesn't negate it. What he said about the deaths of the 3,000 in WTC was stupid to say, instead he should have said what those 9 hijackers did took away our freedoms.
As for my 2nd statement, It's completely unrelated to this or him - I'm just saying "fuck pastors" and "fuck christians". That's all.

Sounds like he was being civil, and exercising his right as a citizen as proclaimed within the Constitution. To be tazed, beaten, maimed etc., regardless of orientation in some social, political, or otherwise equally legitimate areas of culture, for expressing your rights is absolutely absurd.

It's not a surprise. But you just hear a quick story about that on the news or wherever (if you are lucky enough) but now that we have a story to hear, and you clearly see damage to the guy and on top of that he is a Pastor (and who beats up pastors, especially a cop) and more and more often is seems like cops do dirty shit so it's a little easier to understand why someone would feel a little more outspoken than hearing your uncle tell you about Rodney King.

I'm not disagreeing with what you said about his comment, only stating that by pointing out his naivete and then immediately saying "fuck pastors and fuck christians", you sound just as ignorant as the him, if not worse.
Also, like Kevin and Nate said, it's not a surprise. People know this stuff happens and accept it, even though they shouldn't. The fact that this isn't an isolated case makes it more outstanding than if it was. More people need to stand up against this kind of thing the way this man is. I look forward to seeing the results of the court case.

Like Charlie said it is getting worse, there has to be a way to get the rights back under the people fast. The only problem is people do not care unless it has happenend to them. None the less something needs to be done fast so it doesn't get out of control (if it already isn't).
it's already too late. things won't change unless the people bring violence to the table.

But what is probable cause?
You roll down your window, the cop says he supposedly smells weed, that's probable cause. He doesn't even have to actually have smelled it, he just has to say that he did. At that point, you can refuse a search, but once the dogs come, if they alert, you have to let them search.
I have refused a search before and then they happened to have a K-9 with them that alerted on my car. I had just got done smoking like 4 blunts in a row, so the dog could not pinpoint the exact location of the herb. The 2 cops took turns searching my car for about an hour before they gave up. They never found my stash spot, hehehe. I rode the fuck out for an hour and then twisted up just to say fuck them.
Another time, we refused a search and the cop searched our car anyways. Somehow the all black Glock blended in with the all black glove compartment and he didn't see it. We kept telling him to stop searching our car and when he finally got to the trunk we started saying it more and more assertively. He glanced around the trunk and I guess felt that nothing looked suspicious. They eventually let us go. There was 3 1/2 P's of dank in the trunk.
We were on the highway, again, smoking in L in a rental car. The cops pulled us over and immediately shit was mad suspicious because it reaked like herb and we were in a rental heading South. It got even more suspicious when the cop patted me down and found $4,300 and 2 cell phones. He tore the car up for about 45 minutes until he gave up. He had to give the money back because it was under the legal amount to carry of $9,000. He asked me if I knew the limit and I said yes. Then he asked me what the money was for, and I said that I don't believe in banks. He didn't like that answer, but he never found the dime satchel in my nuts, bahahaha.
I have been searched many other times as well, but the cops are fucking weak and they can't beat me.

And they had probable cause, the dog supposedly tipped them off to something in the car. Besides, like Charlie said, probable cause is anything an officer wants it to be.

That is bullshit reguardless if it happens and it's your kind of attitude that allows shit to continue unchecked. Guy atleast thought he was defending his rights and was willing to push it based on that. There was no reason to have his shit searched, he didn't smell like pot and the border patrol and the cops are fucking pieces of shit. Maybe some wouldn't go through the trouble but you can't put this guy down for not bending over and taking it willingly like you apparently would. Get the fuck out of here with that shit. :arrow:
