View Full Version : question: report my neighbor to social services?

long story short: my friend and i stepped out on my porch to have a smoke at like 11pm tonight, and just as we're sitting down, this family that lives like two houses down rolls up in his jeep. the big ass guy, his wife, and his 12 year old kid are in the car. as they're driving by, the guy is screaming his ass off. he says something like "YOU DID NOT NEED TO FUCKING SAY THAT SHIT TO MY FRIENDS. I'M GOING TO FUCKING BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF YOU WHEN WE GET INSIDE". the car parks, and everyone gets out. they start yelling at each other for two minutes (this kid has a squeaky 12 year old voice), the father continues to threaten the kid,and finally he opens the garage door and closes it. it's sort of hard to see what's going on, but we hear him picking up what sounds like pipes and shit and now the kid starts crying hysterically, and begs for him to stop. the guy is saying shit like "I'M GOING TO BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF YOU".

at this point, my friend (an Army Ranger) walks over to the garage door because this shit is looking insane. but as he gets close, suddenly they go inside and there is silence. this experience shook me up a bit, because we're i live in a nice-ass neighboorhood and this big-ass guy was just going way out of line on his little ass kid. my question to you guys is whether or not i should report this to social services. i really feel scared for that kid, i'll bet that guy is a real fucking prick.

Follow the dude for about a week. Find the most vulnerable part of his schedule (for example, when he walks out to his car from the bar drunk as fuck every Saturday night). Beat him mercilessly with a heavy object (make sure to wear a mask). Almost kill him, but not quite. Whisper in his ear that if he ever touches his child again, you will know, and you will kill him.

Goddamn, you're like the dumbest fucking person ever. You know why he beats his kid? I'm guessing severe rage caused by emotional problems and feelings of insecurity. You beat the shit out of him, he's going to feel MORE angry and MORE insecure, and the FIRST thing he's going to do is sodomize and murder his child.

Don't listen to this asshole. Call the cops.

Emiger
19.06.2010, 08:57
Yes, inform the cops/child protective services. It doesn't matter if you saw anything or not, there were threats against the child, and CPS can investigate further. That no snitching bullshit may be fine for people who steal mountain dew, but you don't let a fucker who bets on a kid walk around. You get that fucker put in jail/kids taken away/make him pay child support forever.

i think telling the cops and having him go to prison and get a slice of his own watermelon for a good part of his life would cause him much more anguish than to just kill him and set him free from everything /run-on

regardless if he actually did do anything to the kid, possibly by having someone show up at his house telling him he was way too harsh on the kid according to a neighbor might make him realize something he is doing wrong.

when in doubt you want to look to the people who have had personal experience with these situations and ask them what they would do

charlie hustles suggested something that you would see in a movie

but oldskizzle, i dont mean to pry but i recall he himself saying that he was raised in an abusive environment growing up, said that you should immediately report him to child services, you should listen to his advice

so report the scumbag

We all want to live. And in large part we make our logic according to what we like. But not having attained our aim and continuing to live is cowardice. This is a thin dangerous line. To die without gaming one's aim is a dog's death and fanaticism. But there is no shame in this. This is the substance of the Way. If by setting one's heart right every morning and evening, one is able to live as though his body were already dead, he gains freedom in the Way. His whole life will be without blame, and he will succeed in his calling.

The priest Keiho related that Lord Aki once said that martial valor is a matter of becoming a fanatic. I thought that this was surprisingly in accord with my own resolve and thereafter became more and more extreme in my fanaticism.

too bad movies are a poor reflection of real life, and the repercussions of actions in the real world are not seen in the movie world

the chosen one actually explicitly explained the dynamics of a child abuser and why attacking this man is dumb, this is a man who is insecure and full of rage. randomly attacking the guy is only going to make him more insecure and more full of rage, and since you cant watch him constantly that kid is undoubtedly going to suffer because of your shortsighted plan of attack. that kid is the outlet for the guys rage

you have read derrick jensen, maybe you read A Child Called It in high school or a psychology class. i do not know from personal experience but those two writers do know, and what TCO says coincides exactly with what they say

in the end it doesnt matter, neither of us are personally in this situation. its all internet talk

Yeah, good idea Charlie...

Make it so the guy is automatically suspicious that his kid or wife/gf is telling people he is abusive so he can finally end it all in a murder/suicide.

Gatsby, I think you underestimate the lengths that I would go to in order to achieve something that I have set out to accomplish. Resolve. Standing on your own two feet is not always easy.

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is The Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

In the judgment of the elders, a warrior's obstinacy should be excessive. A thing done with moderation may later be judged to be insufficient. I have heard that when one thinks he has gone too far, he will not have erred. This sort of rule should not be forgotten.

Calling social services on a family is fucked. there is good intentions behind it but it only hurts the child more. CPS WONT DO SHIT, then the father is going to beat the kid more for "snitching" even though he had NO fucking Idea what was happening. Your best bet is to steal the kid.

The kid is already going to be fucked, especially if he's nearing the teenage years. He's already developing a distorted view of love and family, and I'm sure trust may be a hard thing do in his case. What you will be doing is removing a physical threat from his environment. If he's still pretty young (sounds like he is) there's a better chance a lot of the undesired behaviors can be managed during his teen years, and allowing him to develop into a healthy individual.

If you keep him in that situation once he's a teenager or older, it's going to be even more difficult to fix any problems he may develop.
