Good concept, but yeah... Kizer...

Come on, let's be honest. what are the odds to wear out only some of the parts and get new ones that would fit back in seamlessly? It's plastic it wears out and moves around. Replacing just a part of the frame just seems silly to me. You'd always have weakened parts.

haha so true
The onyl good frame by Kizer is the fluid
I skated the shit out of those and loved them.
original stock valo frames aka stock m12 frames with the extremely unrecessed frame bolts and shitty h block design. or the senate frames with also extremely unrecessed frame bolts and sticker decals

The Type M hast the best shape of an 'h-block' of all fresstyle frames (because it kind of immitates grindwheels) and it slides like butter (from what I've heard). Sadly, it looks like kids toys which is why I wouldn't buy them.

and any K2 frames over the last 8 years, still using 6mm axles that are not recessed, making ledge skating deadly.
stock razors frames aren't that bad. they are the same frame as the GC 1-3 i believe. i think the reason they suck so bad is because they are probably the most widely skated out of the pool of shitty frames

Yeah unrecessed bolts pretty much kill it. I got a friend into skating and he bought some M12s, started trying to grind and we kept hearing the pinging of his bolts hitting the rail. Immediately dug in my closest for anything else I could find.

you would never have survived skating in the 90s if you can't handle the sound of metal on metal.

I don't mind the sound of metal on metal, it's just knowing you only have a certain amount of grinds on those things before the hole for the allen wrench gets messed up and those wheels are stuck in there.

I remember my first aggro skates Blade Runner Blackjacks (generic box car ripoffs) with metal un recessed bolts. I wore down the heads on the right side of my right skate so bad that i could put an allen wrench in there to rotate the wheels. I asked my grandpa for assistance with getting the bolts out and he replied. "You either needs to do all your wild stunts on the left skate or drill this bolts out, my leather strap on rollerskates i got in 1934 for a nickel had recessed bolts, how the hell can people figure out how to make internets, ICBMs, and land people on the moon, but not countersink bolts."

lol he was the best grandpa ever and love skating in much the same way I do. He actually grew up rollerskating on on of the same streets we used to street skate on alot when i was younger. there is a really nice handicap, stair rail on both sides, and a curb on the same quarter mile stretch. He skated there because there was only 2 other paved roads in the town at the time :) He really liked the idea behind xsjado and remz skates because they resembled what he grew up with rollerskating. He also liked my fiziks frames and the urethane wheel concept which was far superior to the clay wheels he had back in the 30's.
Those old 50/50 preUFS frames that came on the petty and julio thrones were the worst ever. They broke after two sessions.

Shut your mouth!!!!!!!!!!!! I had the blue ones (fabiola I believe) and they were amazing on my Flats. I skated them with no middle wheels and they lasted almost a year.

Able frames were the worst for me... I tried a friends pair out and the didn't even feel like they were designed for grinding... More like for 'stopping' and 'sticking'... :?
The good thing about the Rollerblade frames from that era were that they had a groove that was suitable for curbs and rails. Like a groove in a groove.

You must have been doing something wrong. I do admit that they were the best sliding frames but when I broke my 20 something pair stepping off a curb I said "fuck these things".
EDIT: They were so bad that RW was selling them for 15 bucks a month after they ended production.

i loved able frames, they just weren't for everyone. build and design wise, i think the armor tech frames really were some of the worst, along with all frames that didn't have recessed bolts.

I bought these, tried to break them in proper, gave up and took a grinder to the H-block. After doing that they werent bad. Slow as shit, but they locked better than any other frame ive owned. If you mean worst frame in history, no question the frames that came on the Roces streets. I shattered them second or third day i had em. If you are talking post UFS, first gen mooks.
