i was thinking about this last night. theres an entire generation of kids who grew up being told they were fat, unproductive, lazy and that all they did was watch tv all day. most of these kids took up skateboarding, and the same older generation who complained about their weight is now telling them they cant skateboard here. these kids are soon going to be in charge of running the businesses and enforcing the law, and i predict laws against skating will be far more lenient. something to look farward to, maybe.

Hmmm... I think that since you lose weight if you do crack, maybe crack will be more legal in the future.

too bad those arent the type of people that represent us. I can see street skating being wiped out completely, I mean it gets harder and harder to skate street here at least in califonia with how many police their are. and now with anti skating laws that are begining to pop up who knows?

Most CEOs of companies dont skateboard during their youth. Golf and afternoon tea will become more legal.

I think that there might be more public property where skating is legal.. but no way in hell that the places we get kicked out of now for skating will be accepting of us(schools, banks, monuments, company complexes, apt. complexes, etc...). If city officials and mayors are smart, they will sanction sections of towns and cities to be "action sport friendly", and even build street spots specifically for our uses. Like, build street spots in public parks just to be skated, or biked. Or make certain already built areas legally skateable. this has already happened in rochester to a certain extent.. im not sure if it is technically legal to skate the spot in my sig, but you never ever get kicked out and no one cares at all if you skate there.
