how can anybody possibly decide on this as a final design

They're being released, AFAIK. I didn't like them much when the first pictures leaked, but they're pretty dope in person.

Plus I know that the colour scheme is based off some Nikes, but I can't seem to find the picture of them. Also, I think they're supposed to give off a 'cold' vibe, since Richie is Canadian and we all live in igloos.

I wanted to do something unique.
Skates are always the same boring colours. I wanted something different but still tasteful/stylish.
I ended up making around 25 different colour schemes/designs and this is the one that i liked best.
The colours are based on the "Tokyo Supreme" model of Nike AF1s.

There is a snow/ice theme as a representation of skating in Canada and the colours are a bit crazy - just like me.

Nobody's purchasing them because they haven't been released yet. Some people think they look dope, get over it.
