Biggest tip: Learn how to have better conversations by asking better questions. Ask things that are more open ended and less yes and no stuff. What got you into whatever you're majoring in? Basically what got you into this or that is a good one. Just get her talking about herself.

Smile and lot. Linger around when you're about to leave her. You just may get a goodbye hug and that may lead to more.

Other than that, when meeting randoms just keep things in check. If a girl is being a bitch, tell her your done and walk away. If she has a heart and you have a chance, she'll be back.

I think there are basically two approaches when in a party/drinking situation.
1. You approach them and give it your best shot. Typically you'll fail, but if she is into you then you'll know right away.
2. Don't give them any attention off the bat, if you catch her checking you out later on - work your way over. You've officially flipped the game around, and you're giving them a shot.

The 2nd approach has worked for me many a time in the past. I am still drunk from last night. I read that book The Game by Neil Strauss. A really entertaining read and you can really learn some things about how girls act. You dont necessarily have to be an asshole to girls for them to like you. but it does help if you do it right. The key is confidence and not giving a fuck, both are qualities that "assholes" posess. Girls definitely want to be treated nicely(which is what they tell their sad pathetic guy friend who is in love with her but she only sees him as a friend), but they respond so well when youre playfully mean. In my mind it's still being nice because youre not really being mean with the intent to hurt her feelings, its more about making her self conscious and want to be good enough for you. Don't think to yourself, "that girl is way too hot for me im not good enough for her" etc etc. Make bitches prove themselves good enough for YOU and you can never go wrong. All of this being said, i havent had a girlfriend since 6th grade. One, because i am entirely too picky when judging girls personalities and two because girls piss me off too fucking much. So, take my advice for what you want, because it will give you confidence talking to girls, it may or may not work too well for making the girls your girlfriends.

When in any situation where there are girls around, figure out which one you think is the best looking and talk to her. if shes not havin it, find the girl you think is the next best and see whats good with her and just keep working your way down til one bites.

As far as real life... confidence plays a huge role. I know this first hand because I never found confidence and it was frustrating. Confidence alone will give you all of the traits that will give girls desire. I'm not talking being cocky like you're some hot shit, I'm talking about holding your own.. being cool and aloof. But also showing ability to hold a conversation. My last gf was so overblown by my confidence (that I was unintentionally spreading) she was actually into me before I was into her. She was even surprised of my unsuccessful past.

Getting confidence does NOT happen overnight (it's not exactly teachable). What you can do is find yourself in a social situation where you're often meeting new people and being personable with them. Clubs are a big NO, bars.. maybe but still drunk chicks aren't what you want (for a gf).. if you're in college, getting involved in a student group that meets regularly and events like that can be good. If you're in hs.. well it's different, but some afterschool activities might work. For me I was involved with a student org that met regularly and I saw it grow and met my ex there. I also met another chick (before my ex) who I didn't get the time to chill with until after we both got out of relationships (in June). I had always suspected her interest, but I never played it like she was into me...we hung out plenty and sorta went on dates casually. Unfortunately I had to leave the state before anything happened. But at my going away party she was all over me. I noticed the pattern being I held onto my confidence, played it like it was no big deal and I could tell she was into me.

So what I'm saying is you don't have to meet gfs in these social settings (like I did), but it can open you up and use that confidence elsewhere. All the tips other people had in here are relevant to your confidence, but that needs to come first. I accomplished what I did without the use of drugs or alcohol, so don't feel the need to use to make yourself 'confident' when it's really just uninhibited.
