One of my Cash for Keys people made the news (video/article)

i was supposed to meet with the black guy in the video this morning. i called him yesterday to set up a time and he told me this story that i thought was bullshit: the previous owner was in the army and left a toolbox in the garage. jean was cleaning it out when he found a couple little bottles containing an unknown to him liquid. he spilled one on accident and thought the stuff inside was pretty neat so he poured the other bottles out and let his kids and pregnant girlfriend play with the stuff. turns out it was mercury. somehow the police got called out and an environmental team had to clean it up.

also, there were kids playing with mercury on the bus, nothing ever happened with that, at the end of the day they brought it home

I knew what mercury was when I was like 5 and I knew it was bad, it's not hard to pay attention in school and learn important things like this
