i was watching stay gold and i noticed how many long lens shots were filmed from a higher vantage point like a tree or something. i feel like having a ladder would be sick to film shit. your thoughts.

if you have a car a little step ladder wouldn't be too much of a burden, sounds like a good idea to me

Most people go on roofs, top of cars, fences, etc... I know I've done it a few times.

I have an idea for a photo shot that would require a ladder, gonna try to get it done next spring

yeah bro...
I need good weather, a lens that I don't have yet + a trip to a skatepark with a decent flybox (nowhere close)

I've seen ladders used alot in skiing cine, mostly halfpipe stuff to get up there. I always look for climbable shit if possible, just to switch up the vantage point... cause if its there its good to take advantage, since you're on level ground most of the time you shoot skating.
