i talked to chris himself about this, over the summer, he even said that his wheels sucked, it isnt his fault though, basically what happened was they didnt get to 'set' as long as they were supposed to in the molds then they got shipped over to fast so they didnt get to go through the hardening process that usually takes place in freight. he also said he had prototypes of the same size wheels and what not and that they were some of the best wheels ever but the fact that they didnt get to go through the whole process most wheels go to they are screwed up.
but i guess thats what happens when you kids gotta have your farmer gear.

Also don't forget the new M1 wheels are poured here in the US.
What really makes the biggest difference in durability is if wheels are single pour or dual pour (dual durameter).
Dual durameter wheels are far superior to single pour wheels. Of course Murder One (M1)
Urethane wheels are Dual durameter as are Cozmo. That is why they are a better, more durable and longer lasting wheel if you Skate hard, fast and want a smooth ride.
For an unbiased opinion just give SkatePile a call and ask them why they are featureing them on their home page or ask Franky Morales why he rides them or Damien Wilson or Franco Camayo or Mike Lilly or Julian Bah or or or or .........etc. etc.etc...
For the best of the best ride Dual Durameter poured in the USA only !!
Whats the difference between 9 mm and M1s?

I thought Franky Morales was riding Exiles and Julian Bah was on Genre

Franky has been riding M1 for over 6 months and prefers the wheel. He was offered a deal with Exile but they could not come up with a contract that was aggreeable to but of them.
Franky will be in Tallahassee, Florida the weekend of the 19th for some serious street skating there.
Julian is currently sponsored by Genre, but has been helping M1 by evaluating the M1 wheels for us. We wanted his opinion of the wheels and his opinion means something since he is such a sick Sk8'r. Watch for Julian this year. He can tear up the streets.

Yes M1 amd 9mm are poured at the same source but they are poured to different hardness levels. Being Dual Durameter M1 had their wheels poured at a harder durameter on both the core and the outter wheel.
You feel a noticible difference when riding on them.

Eulogy doesn't pour Heat anymore, and hasn't for about a year. there are 3 sets of these in existence. a Blood 52x10a clear red TDI wheel treaded down to a 49mm and has eulogy outer urethane poured around it. They will be offering them up to the winners of 3 different contests in the near future.

new heat wheels are no longer poured by Eulogy, its labeda (sp) now. my oli shorts died after 3 sessions AT A PARK. other people here also jacked up different sets on their first day. so go with the old heats or eulogys.

9mm were pretty good wheels. But only if you were lucky enough to get some from the good batch. Their last batch was pure garbage and my guess is that it is what made them go under.

Why is it that Isa....Dagobert is speaking in a voice that assumes we are normal people, while this other guy is talking to us like we're cans of Mountain Dew? Just sayin...

Ah, I see. Well, either way I was talking about the guy earlier in the thread, the "Sk8 extreme" guy, as the one talking to skaters like they're extreme soda. Anyone know who he is? Is he affiliated with M1?
