View Full Version : remz OS review request
Anyone able to help out?
I'm looking as the OS4's and found one review on youtube and I'm looking for some more opinions.
and yeah I posted thisnun the reviews forum too I just am hoping more people would respond here in general gossip.
I've had os2's, and 3's... I'm guessing they're almost the same as os4's...
Great skate, light, uncomfortable.

Can you expound on how they were uncomfortable?

I would compare them to a race car..... They perform better then every other skate out there pretty much but yea the comfort is lacking.
Probably the best grinding skates I have ever owned. The discomfort is kind of hard to describe. They're are so many random pressure points in them.
You will probably have problems with your ankles also. I have skated cuffless remz and lots of very lowcut speed skates and not had any problems,
but with my OS1's I had a lot of minor sprains that would take a week or two to heal. they are super responsive skates and they make you feel like you can do almost anything while you're wearing them, but two hours into a session your feet are pretty much done for.
Thanks for that mike. My old man sessions barely last 2 hours so no issue there haha

they're cool looking, but if they're like previous os skates, they take time to get used to. kinda like Xsjado's. they're weird coming from more traditional skates. the pressure points where buckles are feel odd. and the usual uncentered frame weirdness of remz in general doesn't help. great skates once you get used to em though.
Unless you are planing to do huge gaps in them, they are one of the best skates that you can buy for that money.
They are very light skates and they have perfect amount of flex. I heard that Comfort is improved in os4 skates, which is definitely a good thing.
I would recommend them.

best most accurate remz os review.
I've had the first three, never tried the 4s.

They're sooooo much better with a standard razors cuff.
That is all. Carry on.
I'm sure I will have a learning curve, I'm used to high boots like trs pre ufs m12's argons etc...
I'm not really worried about the change because I would change from argons to k2 with no issues.
But I just can't fucking wait.
My bff (yeah I said it, go fuck yourself) got some haffeys from k2 naturals and loved the shit out of em.
Enough to buy the 2.1s before he even thrashed his 2.0s.

The newest OS (OS4 I believe) has what seems like a much better liner that's specifically designed for the Remz shell. So I would definitely go for those over any of the earlier models.

This.......... I was thinking of getting a pair because of the new liner, but decided against it because of money
Franky's were the best OS's, neoprene liners and a razors cuff made them way more solid than all the badly padded v-cut liners in the recent ones, a full cuff and good liners are the way to fix the problems with comfort.
I thought v-cut cuffs were the way to go.
I'm gonna try them with v-cut first then look into full if I hate them.
That video made me want to claw my eyes out.
Anyone else want to chime in?
whatever you do make sure you get the jug heel pad with em, that shit feels SO CASH. The liner blows cocks in the OS2. Would like to try the os4 liner.
