Best holiday release. Despite the lack of production quality, this video was definitely the best overall. The Brierly's (killed it and should have had a section), Casey McFarland, Marc Moreno, Joey Chase (skating on the 2nd and 3rd story while everyone else is on the 1st), Jon Jon (perfect trick selection), Shima (section of the year), and I don't even like Montre's skating, but he fucking murdered his last 2 tricks and definitely earned the ender.

Cop this video! I didn't.

after seeing game theory, nimh, and valo4life...Nimh takes the cake. Valo an game theory are pretty much even to me, game theory had better skating but I dont like how it was put together, valo had not as epic skating but it was so nicely done that it was extremely enjoyable. Nimh was made like shit, Im not a fan of the music but DAMN was the skating spectacular. Montres last trick....WTF?!

im gonna have to agree, i have all three and i only watch the nimh video.

Ya, the music fucking sucked. I felt like I was back in '96 listening to one of those soft "alternative" radio stations that played shit like Hootie and The Blowfish. (Shima's song was cool, though.) Some of those clips also seemed like they were from '96, looking all PAL-converted-(but-they-weren't-even)-shitty-internet-connection-transfer-shitted-on. Those two things alone were so fucking horrible that it is really amazing how sick the skating is to have still made the video ill as fuck.

the music was the best feature of the dvd.

I watched Vine St. The production quality was amazing and I enjoyed most of the music. Rian Arnold's song was horrible which sucks because he had the best section (and ender section), and I did not enjoy those little intros that let the beat build up and then right when you thought the beat was about to drop with some hammers, the song ends and you discover you have been duped into thinking that was the section but it was really just some stupid intro. The main thing about this video that I didn't like was that it was really a local video (skill-wise) except for Richie, CJ, and Rian's parts. This is not necessarily bad, but you can't really put it on that EPIC SKATE VIDEO LEVEL. Rian Arnold fucking killed it, dude is wild. It was cool to see the Australian scene. I must repeat that the production quality was amazing. There were some really beautiful shots in there.

the music was the best feature of the dvd.

I like some metal and punk and grunge and hardcore and whatnot, but all of those songs seemed so soft and forgettable. I liked them better after banging some Roxi's last night, but I like everything better after that shit.

Game Theory had some great tricks and can get me amped before a session. Valo4Life is too long to do that... That is a video I'll smoke and watch on a rainy day... but the vid was great. Victor Arias = Best section. The Nimh video had some shitty use of their music because I usually love the black keys and the kinks. However, Bolino is the best and Montre's ender was impossible. Vine St. has Richie Eisler.. basically that means it's the best vid.

If Richie Eisler only has "local video" skills I'm a cross dressing ferret

The fact that you are a cross dressing ferret has nothing to do with Richie's skills.

However, you can look it at either way . . .

NIMH Video was the best video of the season, but it could have been one of the best videos of all time, maybe even on par with BFG . . . if only it would have been better produced, better promoted, and included only sections of Joey/John/Shima/Montre with one really sick friends section (Casey, Marc, Brierly's, CK, and no zero-spin miszous).

REALIZE THE FORMULA, MOTHERFUCKERS!

I actually thought the music in the nimh video was the best out of any blade movie i've seen in awhile. Only sections i didn't really like were montre, shima(dont kill me) and casey's. Yeah, the production quality really ruined how awesome the video could of been but atleast there were some solid sections. If only every section could of been filmed like Colin's then the video would of ended up super awesome. On that note, charging will be incredible.

I cant wait for charging. And yee, I still havent seen vinestreet, sideshow rodeo or any other video im just talking about out of those three.

Charlie Hustles
19.01.2011, 10:23
I'm juiced to see Charging too. Sideshow Rodeo seemed corny as fuck to me after watching the trailer, but I hope to be proven wrong. (Doubtful, unless there is a secret Walt Austin section.)

19.01.2011, 10:24
I concur. I didn't like it as much at first, but you just skip the shitty middle sections and its a bangin video. The Brierly guy should have had his own section.

Haven't seen the Nimh video but I think they did themselves a favour by not promoting the fuck out of it the way Valo and Razors did with their videos. If you hype videos to death then they are bound to let folks down, no matter how sick they are.

I thought Valo4Life was sick. Just got Vine St., Ninh and Game Theory (but I am at work so can't watch yet) and am waiting on Sideshow Rodeo. To be honest, from the trailers for them all they all looked amazing, can't wait to finish up work and start watching.

I really liked the NIMH vid as well.
I love Montre's blading, so obviously I loved his section. Last few tricks were huge. And I liked the song in his section as well.

Jonjon has the cleanest landings in all of rollerblading.
And his back roy up the rail to fish makes me scream every time.

As far as skating goes the Nimh video takes the cake so far. The Valo video has the best production I have seen so far. Possibly better than Truth 2 even?

i disagree strongly. i was so let down by the nimh vid.

Casey McFarland, Marc Moreno and Jon Jon killed it, especially Casey McFarland - he has always been one of my favorite bladers. The music was terrible....honestly there isn't a single song in that video that i liked. After all it's a good video but i still like Vine St. better - best music, 3 super sick profiles + Dom West's split section was really good too and good production....even thought they could have thrown away some of the clips :)

The quality of NIMH's filming and video quality pissed me off a lot.
CK's was the best in that regard, but the skating was amazing all around.

someone sell me the nimh vid.

Nimh video was the most poorly filmed, put together video I have seen in a long time. (<--buy my copy) (http://goo.gl/Ih3AC)

This may be a good thing, but it certainly took me back to those very first generation skate films. The lack of promotion coupled with the rumors/facts of nimh calling it quits, leads me to believe that this film was simply rushed settle debts or cash in on the 50 or so nimh fans. lame
