We're all from different parts of the globe. Make a audio post saying something on how you normally speak... so we can judge you.
Mescalito, Cool_guy called you up when we were all drunk as shit so we can hear yours. I want to hear you whisper sweet nothings to me in that accent.

I talk fast and never sound very enthused. I don't really like my voice (but who does?). I think I'm pretty good at talking like a normal person, but every once in a while, I accidentally slip in some Pittsburghese. Woodward kids thought I was from the south. Imagine a very much less exaggerated version of this:

It's funny, I have two accents. One is from the town I live in and it is the worst raping of the English language known to man and when I'm around people who aren't from here I talk in a pretty standard British accent.
I say we all do vocaroo of what cminor suggested.

The American accent, there are so many, but the seattle/cali one sounds soooooooooooooo dorky. You can pick out Americans from a mile away, even though our accents are so similar. Seattle/Cali accents over pronounce everything.

I have a hispanic accent, but it's not very pronounced. Some people even tell me I have no accent at all (which is not true). Sometimes I wish I had a thicker accent because the ladies love it.

i come from a spanish speaking house, grew up in jersey till high school, and then moved down to NC
dont think i have any type of accent
http://vocaroo.com/?media=vL9nxcgaDRmJlK3Cp
I'm from Minnesota
some people think all Minnesotans have that "Fargo accent" which is ironic as that town is in North Dakota. I do not have that accent, I speak what you would call "normal". Some people claim I stress the "o" in some words, but I think they're just listening for it.
Something that bothers me, when people say "ant" instead of aunt. I call it pop, but if I refer to a type of pop it's grape soda, orange soda, cream soda etc.

I used to speak like a California surfer in the 80s until I lost it when I moved from Huntington Beach, CA to northwest Ohio in 1993. Think Jeff Spicoli from Fast times at Ridgemont High
Now, I have no accent at all. Enunciation was hammered into my skull during my teen years. I can, however, correctly identify lots of American dialects as well as identify accents when overseas, I made a game of it when visiting Krakow, Poland and Prague, Czech Republic.
I can almost always differentiate between British and Australian accents, but I get stumped on New Zealand accents.
However people talk in Connecticut.

Ohio. Midwestern Accent, which is the "standard american" recognizable accent. That's why most news anchors are from the midwest, everyone can understand what we're saying.
