Large Sized Helmet

Got my new Razor skates, and now I need a new helmet before I can hit my local skate park. I am hoping you guys can help me out here. I have a pretty big skull. When I measure my head it is 24.25", most helmets largest size is 24".

I ordered the Triple 8 Brainsaver as it said their L/XL max size was 24.75. But it was way to small, even with the smallest pads in it. I have tried some on at the local skateshop, and couldnt find any that fit. The Tribple 8 Sweatsaver model says its size 24" and that one was just a tiny bit to small.

I did try on a S-One Cromag, but that one was to large and flopped around. Also, they don't sell those in Cali any more cause of the new CSPC laws.

I see on the S-One site there is a "Big Head" style, but I can't find one to try on anywhere.

Do you guys have any ideas?

i would check out the website for triple 8, bern, pro-tec, etc, email them and see who sells the biggest helmet. i fit into a xl protec, but it sounds like your dome might be bigger than mine

Actually, the circumference of the Protec fits my head in the XL, but the shape just doesnt work, it sort of digs in to the top of my head.

I already talked to Triple 8 and they said no go.

i see what you mean, the padding on top is hard compared to the cushy sides, i guess you could change it if you feel uncomfortable, i wear a hat sometimes too.
