All of the VideoGrooves are going to be up for sale on freestyleculture. A lot of people have been waiting a long time to be able to get ALL the VG's. I'm sure this isn't exactly what we all had in mind, but who cares!! VG 1-23 8)

i'm going to buy all of them and put them on a few disks. THIS SHOULD BE STICKY

I love the idea, but $10 for each video means I won't be getting all 23 of them. I plan on getting 5, 10, 12, 15, and 18.

$230 for all of them? Too much $$$.

Pretty cool but older videos are all $4.99, these should be too.

wallet chains disappear :(

same with pants over skates, though it came back for a bit in 2005 when the whole boot cut jeans thing was on the rise

Dude, I said watch backwards so just imagine being in the middle of your VG marathon and all of the sudden...

a wild wallet chain appears.

I'm hoping these will be encoded from the original renders. It would be the first time anyone's seen some of the vids in better-than-VHS quality!

I strongly advise everyone against purchasing any of the content they put up in its current form, at its current price. This is not a good thing. It's great that VG is out hurr again, but this is definitely not the way to do it. We must expect and demand better from the most influential videographer our sport has ever seen.

Dave, give us our boxed set.

29.04.2011, 16:03
i would love to have this whole collection but like everyone said thats way too much on the price. i'd also prefer to have a box set too and i want all the lil booklets that came w/ the first ones. i still have mine from vg 4 and vg 5 B)

I will buy and not bitch, this is cool as hell. Price a little steep on some of the older ones but for videos out of production that I've been craving $10 is a small price to pay considering up until now they were non-existent at any price.

There should at least be an offer where you can get all of them for like $150 or something.

dudes, i would want a box set of DVD's as well, but the production cost of doing that + booklets or whatever else, but when taken into account versus the state of the blade industry today (especially the blade DVD industry of today) it just doesn't make sense for DAP to do that. He would lose tons of money.

Just be happy that sooner or later you'll be able to pick up VG3 for $10 and then burn it to a DVD.

i'm pumped.

bladers won't pay $20 for a DVD, why would they pay the entire cost of a pair of skates for some old videos?

You guys have been asking for this for years and when it finally happens all you do is bitch and moan. Releasing a box set with booklets and such is obviously not feasible when only a few people will want to get it out of nostalgia and even fewer among them will be willing to spend hundreds of dollars for it. Get real, kids. Rollerbladers always overestimate the demand for something they want/like. This is just like a few years ago when every week there would be a thread chastising Night Hardware for not cashing in on the huge demand for hitchhiker blocks for Fiziks, when there were only a few pairs of frames left and many of the people who owned them had multiple pairs.

However, I agree that $10 for a digital download of an old video is ridiculous. They should be $5 a piece or even less.

That site functions / looks like SHIT. Brazil, you're a homie but jesus that is some appalling web design / UX / UI. I brought Vine St a while back and it was such a chore - not good for the masses, makes us look incapable of doing things properly. VG always had the solid steez when it came to Design etc.

14 and California Dreamin' are the best issues of VG hands down.

The quality is going to be the thing that makes or breaks this deal. I don't know who would want to download a video with shitty resolution with the plans of watching it on DVD on their TV. Like the other guy said, if they are better than VHS quality (How would you even have access to the original renders?) the cost would be WELL worth it. But I'm guessing the process you used was some analog to digital thing that makes the quality even worse.

Or you taped the TV with a GL1 and captured the video.

So what happened with this? Forgot about it, watched vg 10 tonight and it reminded me.

Can't say i'm really surprised, seeing how half assed most ideas are in rollerblading lately.

All I want is 12, 14, 15, 18, and whichever one had the epic Rob G section.

I don't think they sold many so they stopped uploading them.

People are holding out for the ones that were never released on dvd and are difficult to get hold of. Mostly those between 3-17. If they had uploaded all vg's at the same time, they would have sold a lot more. No one is going to buy vg 21-23. VG 20 maybe. I just want VG 11. Maybe 9 and 12 because I lost my copies.
