I totally agree with you. But the only problem is, they need that many games because like you said, a lot of it is luck or having off days. If teams have off days that means they need to play series rather than play 16 games like football. Its sorta like Basketball, I love basketball and it's not as bad as baseball but if a couple people just have an off night, the whole team can get fucked over. thats why they have a lot of games too, but not as much as baseball.

Football is more about are you better than the team or not. players cans till have off games but it isn't the same as baseball and basketball.

Touche! Looks like your first statement was right on as the substance he tested positive for was hcG which is used to restart testosterone production after a steroid cycle, and having played college football, I can tell you I've seen and heard of it used for that frequently.
