I hoped to go back to my Fiziks frames, but I've lost the frame bolts and the frame's hole for frame bolts seems too narrow to accept any of the bolts I have (namely RB, I like theirs a lot). Any suggestions about what frame bolts fit, where I could get them or how else to fix this problem?

possibly old 6mm 50-50's. You would have to shave some plastic from the bottoms(closest to the ground) of the axle counter sink or grind off some metal from the axle.

I used a bench grinder and ground/grinded the heads down until they fit.

To clarify, I've got the axle bolts. I'm struggling with the bolts that attach frame to boot.

Oh...you gotta get ones with tiny heads and just jam them in under the rubber shock. 50-50 frame bolts will fit perfectly with some force.

My response was aimed at the UFS bolts. I used 50/50 mounting bolts and ground the heads down (width/diamrter-wise) until they were about the head size of the Fiziks bolts. It worked well.

If you ever need them, Back Street Inline skate shop sells bolts that fit.

Any hardware store can do it, just bring your stuff and tell them what you need. I don't why skaters go through all these ordeals to get the right part when walking into a local home fixing shop will solve the problem for less than $2.

Elk,

The problem was that a typical bolt's head diameter is too large. It was also difficult because in my experience, US shops don't carry much metric hardware.

A hardware shop might have been able to grind all the way around the head of each bolt to make it fit, I did not ask. I found it easier to do research online and get a very good, correct fit than to go to the hardware store and see if they could make it work. For your information, it didn't cost much more to get the right part from a skateshop.

I visit the hardware store for skate help as much as the next guy. But not in every case and not if saving less than $10 means sacrificing any aspect of my skate setup.
