so I'm not sure if I'm going to do this yet but I'm thinking about it...I'm going to try and put either a size 7 nimh v1 skin or a size 8 broskow skin on my size 9 krbnz. I've already got both of these laying around so it won't cost me any monayz either. I figured A) could possible look cool B)will protect the leather/buckle C) The only downside is it may look retarded/add weight. Thoughts?

why would you do something that ruins the entire point of the kerbons WEIGHT

well if you can read you could probably answer that question...I doubt there's that much of a weight difference by adding a skin anyways.

you would have to use TRS souls or soemthing to wrap around the skin.
carbon souls will not cut it.
so yes, you will be adding weight.
i would not do this myself and actually skate it but i dont htink its a bad idea

just try it

i think the benefit of prolonging the life of your 350$ BOOT will outweigh the cost of the awkward looking skin, especially if your just rolling around the park and practicing

if you actually think the skin is going to make a difference in weight I LAUGH IN YOUR PATHETIC FACE

you should put these bad boys on them

skins by themselves will not add any noticable weight.
i was saying once you add the brick sized souls needed to fit around the skin then it will be very noticable.
but no heavier than anyother skate

the only thing is, is that the carbons heel is flat and the nimh / valo skin is based on the old heelifted boot mould so thats gonna be weird...

update!!! Don't do this! I tried it and although it does help protect the boot I don't think it's worth losing control because you can't lace as well. Anybody want to see pics anyways??? They looked kinda cool...

yeah well I thought I'd make sure...

size 9 khaarbinz, size 8 valo skin, small fl2's
edit* I forgot to say I was planning on cutting a slit into the inside of the skin for the strap but already realized it wasn't working out.

lol
no
lace them seperately
lace the deshi so you can get it tight
lace the skin and just leave it loose so you dont have to deal with it
and gen an extra set of baseplates and shave the heel flat so you can actually have the to souls fit around the skins
