I know this was a topic yet, but these axis really suck! I had my first session on them today and they just opened by them selves all the time plus I had trouble getting them in and out the frame, trough the wheels.
I ask myself how a skater owned company can produce such shit and proudly present that to the world!
this is embarassing

sorry I translated this in an online dictionary. now I get that this axis is meant only in the mathematic way.
I was talking about the screws that fix the wheels in the frame
and thats my problem, they just dont work.
I have to say that it was rainy and maybe there was some dirt on the floor, still I expect the frame to handle that at first use!

Axles.

Use old GC axles or Salomon.

My apologies that you had such a a bad time with our axles. We like you were not happy with the first axles we had produced. manufacturing can be very difficult. Sometime you just don't get what you are expecting. That being said we worked very hard to find a new manufacturer and create much better axles. All of the most recent frames have been going out with new improved axles.

In the future if you or anyone reading this has any problems with Create Originals products. The best thing to do is email us directly. Perhaps, we can find a solution to your problem. As you may have heard Create Originals has the best customer service in our industry.

Thank you for the support,

Brian Lewis

I can imagine that it's difficult to produce stuff, still it makes you angry if you skate brand new products and are looking forward to them and then you get disappointed, so that was the reason for my agression.
I got the screws from a Remz standard frame and this works fine.
If you're improving the axles please make sure that the hole, where the tool to tighten the axles (dont know the english word ;)) goes, is a bit deeper, because the tool slips easily while spinning

That is a perfect example. We designed them to be 3mm deep. The samples were 3mm deep. Then the production came and they were 1.5mm deep. All of the new hardware is 3mm deep and greatly improved all around.

As for the aggression. If instead of getting hostile, you simply contacted us you would have found that we are very reasonable and could have helped you. We appreciate your support and value our customers. If ever you have an issue again please email us and give us a chance to make it right.

Thank you,

Brian Lewis
