Well, over on rolling edits I have found a couple rollers in the Raleigh/Wake Forest/Garner area and I'd like to know if anyone here on Be-Mag lives around our area.
We'd like to meetup this weekend and have a big session... not just the usual max 3-4 people... we want a BIG street session. There's alot spots around Raleigh, and if people need rides we can probably get some people to volunteer to pickup people. If you are making a trip to come to skate with us and need a place to stay, then floorspace can be worked out for you. Just bring a sleeping bag and pillow.
The meetup will probably start at Triangle Town Center in Raleigh, we'll then start a warm-up session down the street at Fox Road Elementary ledges. Then we'll take a trip down to Durant Elementary/Middle school to skate handicaps... and if some people are up for it there's a huge 50 foot long handrail we skate sometimes. There's the possibilty of skating NC State as well, which is handrail heaven. It all depends on the skill level of the skaters that come.
We'd like to do it THIS Saturday night November 4th, if there's some problems then next Saturday will work good.
