I really don't care about how he looks, but the stair cess was really the only thing that impressed me. Outspin front unity 270 to fakie 3 line was neat too.
But I must say he does have a nice flow to his blading though.
not a terrible section to watch, but a lot of 4-6 stairs in there.
the skating is clean, polished and whos to say he cant do hardspin tricks or full tru tricks. he just didnt do them in this section, he is a trendy sob tho

i try not to be a hater but i'll be honest: his skating isn't impressive enough to be in a video. my friends could do most of those tricks...and i don't think any of them really required any balls. he has pretty decent style and his skating is kind of cool but honestly if i spent $20 on a video and that was one of the profiles i'd be a little pissed.

I don't support the hating, but a comment on skating in general: He has the amateur arms. The arms that help you keep balance all of the time. You don't see people who are really comfortable on their blades throw up those arms all of the time. It's one thing that separates the pros from the bros.

I honestly could do every trick in the section. and Im not that good. creative gaps were cool, but by no means impressive. top porn to cess slide stood out, and stair cess stood out. everything else seemed like filler.
The dood is good at skating and is certainly better than that profile portrays.

No it wasn't. It was boring. There were a handful of interesting spots but he didn't do anything cool on them. And they weren't the kind of interesting that makes even a simple trick a clip. He lands kind of neat, but in general that section was soft. If he didn't look so interesting (as a person) I probably wouldn't have watched the whole thing.

it looks like he is scared to skate faster. Top soul to soul on the little curb was the only trick i liked. His skating just doesn't look good to me.

For me, there's zero people who can pull it off.. I can go do smallish tricks myself so they don't really entertain me. I like watching people do stuff that I can't do or have never thought of doing, but I never understood the whole Sean Santamaria concept. Why would I pay for a video of someone doing shit that I can do myself? "Oh because he's just having fun and stuff you just don't get it dude...." Great.. the little kids on the playground down the street are having fun maybe I should go pay their parents to let me watch them.

Not at all. It's just that there was not a single impressive trick in that whole section. No creativity, no skill, no speed, weak style. It sucked. The only 'interesting' thing about that section is that the dude looks like a goofball.

Except only one or two tricks in that section were even remotely impressive. His style sucked and flow without speed is meaningless. As for his clothes, I couldn't care less. You can dress like a complete clown and still skate impressively (take Rian Arnold, for example), but Robbie Pitts doesn't.

He has great control in his skating, executes tricks precisely.
I liked it, but my two greivances were that he should probably work on skating bigger things. And maybe a downrail or down ledge... And the other is when are people going to realize that the only good looking Liu Kang's are how KC Roche does his in his Meantime section and if you're doing like a 540 to stick your foot so it's practically perpendicular to your body.
His Valo4life tricks seemed better, and idk why you guys hate on someone cuz they dress differently. Doesn't affect you guys. and btw does he do TM?

let's clarify something: i think most of us on here can appreciate all types of skating, including smaller obstacles. a good example is the chase rushing video someone posted before. it can be interesting. i think everyone in this thread can appreciate skating besides hammers.
with that said, smaller types of skating shouldn't be a cop out. i think that a lot of skaters these days film on small stuff only because they don't want to challenge themselves, either because they don't have the nads or because they know easier tricks are less time consuming to film. the truth is that it is much, much easier to make an edit skating small things with solid style, but this doesn't make the edit "good", and definitely not video worthy. i could make an edit of myself swagging out doing 360s over small gaps and true mizous on easy ledges, does that mean i deserve video coverage? unfortunately, many people have this mentality and so does this edit. no hate intended against robbie, he seems like a decent guy and he obviously had a blast filming for that edit, but sometimes a good edit or video part requires more than having a good time.

Tricks weren't mindblowing, but they were all clean as fuck, and I really like his lui kangs.

I feel like I could wear tight corduroys, not shave, make edits that start with 8mm footage of me playing guitar, then just keep skating at my current level and get exposure for it. I don't deserve video sections or sponsorships of any kind. Some people seem to have reached that point and you don't have to be stuck in the 90s to realize its bullshit. I'm not talking about robbie pitts or anyone specific, its just that the trend in rollerblading to appreciate "different" has opened up the gates to pseudo-talent and shitty blading being held to the same regard as what Latimer was doing.
