This is something that always kicks up a stink in the video games world and since I just started on Ico and Shadow of the Colossus again and I assume I'm not the only one who's done that with the HD re-release.

So, discuss.

What's the difference between 2001: A Space Odyssey and white chicks?

What's the difference between the Doors and Lady Gaga?

This is a pretty useless topic and I think it goes without saying when something is art or has artistry.

Fuck yeah games can be art. Are you nuts? the amount of craftsmen ship and artistic talent required is enormous. Some games more then others yes, but I've always considered games to be a form of art.

Some asshat of an art student will argue the reasoning why it shouldn't be considered soon enough. I could honestly could give two shits though.

Take a second to look at some of the environments in the video game your playing next. Definitely Art.
