Will we just call it "the 20's?"
Or will everyone want to hold onto that futuristic name of 2020.

Did anyone call it the 10's back when it was the 10's? It was just the early 1900's right?
After 12 it will be the teens.

I say 01-09 all the time. But when it comes to the 10's and 11's, i just say 2010 or 2011. But the 20's just have a b etter sound to it. :)
what about the 2060? Will people just say the 60s?

Twenty O'Eight?
2020 AD sounds more Deus Ex ish
that is what I will say
I feel like I'm living in the sci-fi future I grew up idolizing. Shit is scary. Its definitely not as cool as Neal Stephenson or the 80's made it out to be. More fucked up imo.

It's different for me because my calendar doesn't go by years since Christ, but years since Chris Farmer changed his pants.

what about the 2060? Will people just say the 60s? Yes it will be the 60s, most people alive in 2060 will have been born in the new millennium. Almost everyone who lived in those times will be dead and most people from the 20th century will be on their way out. A 50 year old born in 2005 isn't going to really give as much of a fuck, the 60s will become referred to as 1960s. Imagine how foreign sounding 2001 sounded to someone who was born in the fuckin' 1920s, hearing "19--" for 70 odd years then it changes...woah.
I don't think we can even comprehend how different the world will be in 2060, I hope I live to see it just to find out.
