Mathias Silhan had one of the best edits next to Broskow. I didn't vote for anyone with an 'intro' to their section. I'm somewhat pissed but whatever.

This is worse than when Haffey won Bittercold a couple of years ago.
And for those who haven't figured it out yet, this was supposed to be a rigged contest, but somehow Sven slipped through the cracks.

Whats funny about this whole thing today is that yesterday I was saying that rollerblading has been starting down a good path because the community has been getting kinda closer through the unitedworldrolling and this whole wrs thing. I voted for Broskow because he is my favourite skater, but I thought Sven's edit was better (ttp through a kink!). So here is one 'unfair' vote, that went to Broskow.
Broskow was doing a lot of tappy shit (probably hanging around with Kelso too much), apart from the gaps obviously. I don't remember anything being specifically switch, too? His illusion ally-topsoul was the best trick and it was a bit of a chinker... he can definitely do better. I am sure he must be saving his better stuff for something else.

Personally, I'm just disappointed that the results of today and yesterday pretty much made a mockery of the entire contest. I thought it was going surprisingly well up until this point, and I was impressed by how well it was set up and the discussions it brought about. Kind of injected a bit of life into the recently kind of stale scene..
I would have loved for this to have worked out, and for large cash prize 1 minute edit contests to be a permanent component of WRS competitions. Like if this had gone well and fairly, more pros would have entered next year and with more serious tricks and edits as well. I think it had the potential to produce some epic and memorable sections for big name skaters that could be included in their lists of sections alongside full length video parts, whereas normal online edits are forgettable afterthoughts. Obviously no one is going to put any effort into it now if they do it again; may as well just have a list of names. So even though they didn't break any rules, Sven and Nils ruined it for everyone.
