hello all!

I have bought a shima 6 shell size 10 - 10.5 firstly im pretty fucked off be honest because i have a soulplate from a size 11 gen 4.1 and they dont fit even though the soulplate size says 10-13 on it its still to big that really pissed me off and also i got fat jug team liners they are a size 11 and the shell is a 10-10.5 any tips or tricks to fit them in or shrink them a little to fit in without resorting to cosmetic surgery on them i wont be that pissed off if they dont fit cause thats my own fault

so where is the cheapest place to get a soulplate for shima 6s? are they even meant to be a different soulplate from different gens?? how can i shrink my liners a little bit without cutting them to shreds and why when you email razor are they fuck all help and all they care about is money ?

Thanks rollers

what country are you in?

We can't direct you to buying new souls unless you know where you are.

You can probably pick up an old pair of Genesys from a friend, on Ebay, or your best bet in the trade/sell forum on here, cheaper (and get new liners). Getting new sole plates is always an option and will cost you about $40 USD. Your size 11 liner should fit in the 10.5 shells still. If it doesn't you're probably just jamming them in there. Take some time to smooth out the bottom and set the footbed in properly. Of course, a size 10 liner is usually preferred, especially if that's your true size.

*Please note: If your Genesys skates are a 2005 model or earlier, the size 2 soul plates fit sizes 8-9and the size 3 fit sizes 10-12 only. Feel free to call us if you are not clear.

When the Genesys first came out there was (US sizes) an 8-9 boot and a 10-12 boot (which was humongous). A couple years later they added a 10-10.5 shell, which is basically the 8-9 shell but with a bit more room tacked onto the toe and heel, and it uses the 8-9 soulplate. Nothing was changed on the 10-12 shell, except that it was now labeled the 11-12.

If you have an 8-9 or 10-10.5 shell, you need the 8-9 soulplate.

If you have the 10-12 or 11-12 (same thing different labeling), you need the 10-12 soulplate.

yes its the 10-10.5 shell thats stamped onto the bottom of the boot so as you say i will need the 8-10.5 souls problem im having now is its a 10-10.5 shell which means over here its a 9-9.5 shell and i have got a size 11 (12 US) chunky liner i want to stick in them i got them in but its a little tight in there oh well the shima 6 shells were only 1 dollar guess im going to have to keep shopping around for a bigger shell this time ill remember the shell is stamped onto the boot in an american size
