I started using coffee daily this week and I must say that caffeine is the best drug ever.
Shit allows me to focus at school and be so productive, as well as not feel tired during the evening after my classes (so productivity x2). Also, it considerably improves my mood and feels up-lifting. When I chug a cup of coffee, the feeling actually reminds me of the conscience change that happens a few moments after you take a hit from a joint.

The caffeine in coffee doesn't affect me anymore. I feel like shit if I don't drink it but it won't keep me awake. <3 coffee

You'll build up a tolerance like everyone else.
I have to drink several cups of espresso (like 4-5 in a row) to feel any sort of hype, and it doesn't even do much anymore, except make my heart feel like its about to pop.

I downed my coffee too quickly the other day and felt the searing burn travel downwards into my body the whole way.
Felt weird man. :?

just wait a few years, that buzz and focus will wear off like any other drugs benefitial effect does.
You will slowly begin to have a harder time waking up in the morning, and be less productive without caffeine. Before you notice, you will need coffee to be able to function in the morning, or risk a 2-3 hour waking period with headache, confusion, and short nodding off spells where your eyesight goes out of focus.

Good news is, it only tastes better the more you drink it.

I didn't "already knew this", but I was expecting something among these lines.
I will only use it to increase my performance at school, so not a single drop during weekends, day offs, and vocations.
I enjoy both the stimulant effect and the taste. I need to find some good coffee so I enjoy it even more "while it's still fun".

I have 3 a day, Coffee used to get me pumped up, but now I have to make it really strong and I crash hard after 3-4 hours

ever notice how when you drink coffee right after smoking weed it makes the coffee taste like shit ? Like it completely ruins the coffee for me :cry:

if your going with "cheap" good coffee then go for some 8 O'Clock Columbian blend (assuming you brew your own)

not sure where your located, But Wegman's has some amazing blends my favorites being Kona and Sumatra.
Also, Whole Foods has some good roasts.
But, the best is the stuff from local coffee roasters. In rochester, Finger lakes Coffee Roasters and Java's has the best coffee you can get. you'll have to look around where ever you are
