Look at your parliment or Congress......how many good Christian leaders talk about the same 'values and beliefs', yet they lack a moral compass?
Newt Gingrich tries to pass himself off as someone who has good family values, yet he asked his wife with Parkinsons for an open marriage so he can fuck something that isnt vibrating.
The catholic church, most baptist churches, Mormons,J witnesses .....preaching values and beliefs and deep down they are just as fucked as everyone else, except they have a book in their hand that states otherwise.

Religion attracts people with good intentions,gullible people and those who are at a weak point in their lives and at the same time they attract people who will use said religion as a front for their fucked up views, sexual fetishes or violent intentions.
The same with most organised groups(social/political), a great place to come in, become leader and lead the rest to the dark side.

Humans organising themselves does not work.
