front-end design is fucking easy if you have any type of design knowledge, but the back end stuff can get as in depth as you want it to as long as you know the code. Im currently learning .php and mySQL stuff. I am a front end design guy all the way, but im learning that its way easier to find a job knowing more back end stuff, and the moneys way better. I've never had a problem staring at code, ive know html since like fucking 6th grade, but i do a good job of using my design skills and the minimal html/css/javascript code that i know to make peoples websites and make them happy so they pay me. This server-side scripting is a little more tricky, but does anyone here get down with that kinda stuff? I just got my first legit job out of college doing web stuff, mostly as a front-end designer, but they want me to eventually be more of a developer for them. i got a friend who is real good with programming so hes been helping me, but i was hoping to get a discussion going here.
