Just ordered the black "stripped down" frames. Description says that they are made from a new material and last longer than previous frames. Anyone else skate these newer models yet? Opinions, please.

Is the groove the same as the last? Pictures kinda look like they have a groove that isn't as shallow and wide. Maybe it's just the pictures giving this impression?
Fantastic frames. Will like.

The mold is the same. Best frames. Enjoy.
uh question. what makes em the best frames? everyone hoots and hollers for create originals. they seems like a crayola brand razor stock frame with recessed bolts to me.
thicker walls, i'll admit..

imo i like the featherlights more because it is easier for me to slide from trick to trick in my switchups. the creates were solid but too bulky for me

Its all a matter of opinion, certain things work better for certain people, I personally love the deeper recessed bolts, the split is fantastic and the hardness of the plastic is perfect now, featherlites always seemed too soft of a compound for my liking.

me gusta, perfect hardness + thick walls
frames don't need to be too complex- the simpler the better. CO's, in my opinion, perfected the basic frame. As far as durability- I weigh a lot (6'3 270) and they hold up completely fine. The only CO frame I broke was almost completely worn through- and it was the original plastic- first run frames. The only issue I have with them is the groove out of the box- some people love it- But I usually need a 10+ ledge sessions to groove them up proper and then they are A+ from there on out.

They have a very well executed groove that keeps you locked in, slides well, and holds up well. The walls are very thick which makes them last longer, and helps to reduce wheel bite on Flat setups (been riding mine 57mm flat and experience close to no wheel bite). They are very very solid feeling frames, best for flat setup of any I have ridden, and I have zero complaints about them. Will support them forever.
