In Europe/UK, those are Fatty Pros. Everywhere else, it was these bad mammajammas i have in my basement:

My memory is hazy that far back. I thought the red ones were Fattys and the black ones were Fatty pros. I definitely remember thinking they are the same damn skate for sure.

The Original '95 FATTY was Black & Gray then in '96 through to the start on '97 they made 3 versions of the Fatty Pros in Red/Yellow/Gray color variations.

The red Bing Airs weren't available in the US, and they weren't the exact same skates as the US Fatty Pros of the mid-late 90s. Some differences include:

Fatty Pro: Solid locking aluminum buckle, non-replaceable cuff (rivets), soul from the arch of the foot forward to the toe actually curved upward.

Bing Air: Replaceable cuff (cotter pin), plastic buckle, flattened out soul from the arch of the foot forward to the toe.

Here they are:

Here's a site that has them listed by year, US models only: http://coolsk8ing.cafe24.com/coolsk8ing/02/inlineweb/data/ns/K2_Skate.htm#

The year listed for the original FATTY is definitely wrong, I've got NISS '95 footage of Andy Kruse wearing the FATTY (Though I think they were prototypes at that point) I've got the original FATTY with the original Box and the date on the box reads: 02/96.

Vince jogged my memory. I remember before I had aggressive skates thinking that spending more on Fatty Pros was dumb because Fattys looked cooler. I got my first job specifically to buy skates. I managed to champ that place out another week after finally getting my 1.1s.
