I'm from GA, but I'ved in MN the past 5 years and lately its been 90s if not 100 degrees outside.

So I'm somewhat use to the heat, but for here thats still too hot to skate for most people.

I will skate for a hour or two on a 90+ day.

Usually all day if its lower 80s.

Just curious, what temperatures will you, and will you not skate in?

And if you do skate in 90+ degree weather, how long?

Also would like to know location of people, considering some people live in the south and are use to skating in killer heat.

Yeah usually anytime after 6pm here, its still hot and humid as hell out, but its not as bad to skate in unlike the morning or middle of the day of course.

It's also nice just having a night time skate sesh also.

I usually only skate in the summer once the sun eases up on its assault during the day. Usually after 4-6 pm. It makes it hard to film a lot of the time but whatever.

the heat doesn't bother as much as the sun, I will skate for a few hours at night when it's over 100 but during the day 30 minutes and I'm done for days, takes everything out of me

I can't skate in humid weather, sucks balls.

I prefer to skate when it is just cold enough to slap on a hoody or a flannel

This has been my first week ever skating in high temps+humidity, & I gotta say it's the most exhausting thing I've ever done. Been out every day here in Norfolk, & each session usually ends with me feeling nauseas & like I've been drained of all life. When I was youngerl in central CA we'd skate all day in 100+ weather with no problem, but that didn't hold a candle to this.

stick to the mountains outside of charlotte. slightly cooler. charlotte sucks balls right now!!! all the heat and humidity of being in the south plus all the heat absorbing greenhouse gases the blow north from atlanta. sucks man

this. Not universally true, but definitely the case if it's not a weekend.

If it's 80s or 90s I'll probably only go for a few hours. 60s is ideal. 50s can be better than 70s sometimes.

90 degrees is doable, 100 is fuckin nuts
shit gets crazy when its hot enough for your wax to melt, creating a thin layer of liquid speed on whatever your skating.

but i love me some 60/overcast

its between 95-105 the past week and i've been out almost every night. clothes are soaked after 5 minutes. i'd rather skate in 110 degree heat than skate in anything below 40. i hate skating in the cold. i grew up farming so i can deal with the heat.

I haven't skated once since it got above 90F a few weeks ago. I've been too busy and probably wouldn't have been able to anyways, but there's no real incentive to go out into 100F+ heat.

Right now, it's 104F and supposed to go up to 106F. Tuesday it's supposed to drop down to 84F, so I'll just hold out a few more days and, in the meantime, enjoy the constant 74F inside my house.

I skate at 1AM usually or around there during the summer months (when I lived in Florida this was pretty much the ONLY time I enjoyed skating). It's best for me because only other creepy people like me are out, no one else is out, and the only cops I see are jerking it and trying not to fall asleep somewhere, OR speeding by at 100 mph..

regardless of heat, its the humidity that kicks your ass here in the lovely north east. even in mild temps.

smoking and booze/hang overs don't help.

furthermore, i work with ice. so i'm all sorts of fucked up

It was the hottest day of the year here so far so I went scuba diving instead of skating. Tomorrow is supposed to be several degrees cooler, and I have plans to skate in the evening.

I hang on the side of buildings getting cooked all day. While I am used to the heat, working in it makes me less motivated to skate in it. However, with the limited time I have to skate nowdays I take what time I can get regardless of the temp.
