I recently performed a pc recovery on my computer because it was acting all fucked up,restarting at random times, ect.

I have re-installed my driver for my wireless adapter, got the wep key from the wireless network I'm on, entered that all in and no dice.

It says that I'm connected, but I'm not recieving any packets, My IP, subnet mask, and default gateway are all blank.
I tried to repair the connection but it always stops and renewing IP adress.

Ive tried all the ipconfig steps but it isnt helping, I've also restarted my computer a couple times to see if that would work, but it hasn't.

Ive looked all over google, there are lots of people with a simular problem as to mine but there is no one with steps. I tried contacting d-link to see if costumer support could aid me, but they don't have any support numbers online and I tossed my package away when I got it 2 years ago.

Anyone ever battle through this before? It's getting pretty frusterating.

Whenever that would happen to my D-Link, I'd always pop two X, jerk off a guy or two, and it'd suddenly work again. Might have just been mine, though :?

My wireless adapter has always been a piece of shit that dropped the connection all the time for no reason at all. It was annoying but not completely unbearable until last week, when it started to do it every 30 seconds or so, making it impossible to even watch videos on youtube or vimeo (if the connection is dropped in the middle of the loading of a video and then comes back, the video doesn't resume downloading, you have to refresh, only for it to happen again). So I went and bought a new adapter and now everything works great.

This has nothing to do with your problem, btw. :P

the five pillars of islam:

Shahadah is the oral statement pronouncing your islamic faith. the statement is "There is no god but God, and Muhammad is the Prophet of God."

Salah: prayer five times a day towards Mecca

Zakah: obligated charity to economically impoverished

Sawm: ritualistic fasting during ramadan

Hajj: pilgrimage to Mecca

at least for the Sunnis. the shia are a whole different ball game

i hope that clears up your question

try resetting your router using the little reset button and see what happens.

i fucking hate routers. wireless technology is so inconsistent.
