I am going to order the new farmers but i am not sure what size i should get. i wear a 10 shoe (emerica), and a ten salomon right now. So should i go with ten?

Neglected Truth:
Xsjado: Xsjado skates run true to shoe size. These skates have two shell sizes (4.5-9) (9.5-13). If you outgrow your shoe size you can order foot wraps separate instead of replacing the whole shell.

A Mall:
Xsjado skates run true to size. Xsjado has two shell sizes which allow the skate to span over a large range of sizes through an adjustable heel. This means that if you outgrow your footwrap you can purchase the next size footwrap and adjust your Xsjado shell to fit it.

Small shell: Sizes (4.5-8.5)
Large shell: Sizes (9-13)

what should i do be-mag?

to be honest I would not even skate xsjados if I had to get the large shell. If I were you id get another skate. Or try skating the size 9.

yeah the large shell is awful. Ive skated large and small shell and while I didnt like either, they felt like completely different skates. the larges were massive, clunky, stiff, and I tripped everywhere. the smalls were light, fit perfect, flexy. I just couldnt get used to the centered frame alignment, or rather didnt give them a chance. i kind of wished I had tried to skate them longer though

size 9.5 will fit in the small shells, if you can manage that its probably your best bet

The toe of the footwrap will stick a little bit over the front, but its totally manageable. You will also have to move the cuff back as far as it goes. I know a couple people who skate them this way with no problems. If at all possible try on a couple different wraps, I've noticed they all fit a little differently.

Call up a shop and have them set you up with a small shell and size 9.5 or 10 wrap. <3

yeah your best bet would be if your right there with that borderline of 9 and 10 to just get the small shell the large is just too much extra weight for that little difference.

The 9 and 9.5 wraps are exactly the same thing, just with or without an additional insole spacer. In the Powerslide-produced skates the 9 comes with the small skeleton and the 9.5 comes with the large. I wear a size 10 shoe in NIke and New Balance, a comfortable fit with a little room but still snug, and the 9/9.5 footwrap fits me great, and I ride the small shell. I'm a 9 in Salomons though.

I skate the large shell just fine because I'm not a little bitch. I had to spend a bit of time over a few sessions to really dial in the fit, and I threw the footwraps and top strap in the wash to soften them up.

hey al could you put a small cuff on a large shell skate? Ever heard of that being done?

It wouldn't slot into the baseplate and thus wouldn't really be supported properly, I guess you could screw it down to the baseplate. Why would you want to do that anyway?

I dislike xsjados because the cuffs feel enormous. I don't really know how big the small shell ones are, but I thought maybe they would make them feel better.

Enormous as in height or in width?

So if i order a 9 i could easily make them a 9.5 by taking out some padding?

do you think a 10 would be too large for a small boot?

Yes, just remove the extra insole spacer.
