Hi bladers of this planet!

I'd like to invite you to a competition that WILL ROCK!
It's gonna be in a small town called Veszprém in Western Hungary(120 kms from Austrian border).
When? 2007. August 25. Saturday, 12:00
2 categories: AM/PRO
3 spots: 2 handrails+1 ledge
1st-3rd places will get products from HEDONSKATE.com, trophys, medals(from 24K gold:)
And the winner sof each categories can get some money.
4 EUR for taking part of the competition.
Accomodation for 8 EUR at hedonskate camp.

20:00 Afterparty in Veszprém with live concerts and video premiers. Free for competitors.

Are there any other competitions?? Cause i cant really drive around hungary just to go to a one day competition. i mean, id love to go, but i cant allow myself everythin :cry: do u knw of any competitions coming up in Budapest or near by (within 100 Km)???? I barely ever hear of a competition that takes place in budapest. but it wud be cool to go.

As you saw in an other topic, it will be a one week party.
So if you want to go to Hungary, visit the blader camp which starts on Monday, August 20th.
And stay for the competition that is on Saturday.
You can also visit the camp along the whole week.
Just let me know if you wanna come and i will book the accomodation for you!

It would be cool, but you see, I still got parents and everythin. I live in budapest and thats why I thought maybe there is something closer. I dont know, I'll see wut I can do and its lucky that the competition is on the 25, meaning that its a saturday. Hopefully I can go. But I'll see. Where do you live?

How old are you?
I have many blader friends in Budapest. If your parents don't want to take you to the competiton, I could get some older guys from Budaspest who can travel together with you.
Just tell me how you decided and we will figure out something.

Its not that they dont want to take me to the competition. they just have this thing when it comes to meeting random people. they are terrified of me meeting someone online and then getting together with them. I hope u get wut i mean. but cool, Veszprém, ive been there once, well, the zoo atleast :lol: I met one guy online, here (Be Mag) and I swear to god he is probably the coolest and nicest person I ever met. I aint too good and he saw that when I was skating, but he helped me so much that he gave me hope in a way. I was incredibly lucky to meet him. Where do ur friends skate??? do u ever come down here?? im 16, by the way. :)

Unfortunatealy there is no unity between the bladers in Budapest. There are only small groups who join together.
When the weather is good , you will always find some bladers at Kosztolányi Square(Buda side, where the 47, 49 trams stop). So look for them and try to connect them. Unfortunately most of them can't speak English too good.

What about széna Tér?? thats where one skater took me last time. and there is no need for the skaters here in Budapest to speak english :) I'm Hungarian myself :wink:
