My own kitty is usually real quiet, doesn't bother me much. My brother's cat is real nice too, but he is bigger and takes a lot more space, so when you can't get him to calm down and chill, it can get annoying real fast.

End of the story ? Half asleep, he came rubbing his face against mine, I had some kind of muscular reflex and threw him away. Didn't control my force at all, and he ended up hitting the wall and fell behind my bed... And still he seemed pretty happy about it.

Dear Fagzterz,

I think I may be going forward one traumatizing experience right now.

Basically, when I moved out of Paris I brought all my stuff back to my Mom's place, and she told me to put all the boxes and packages inside the garage so it would be a mess inside the house.

Now, the garage is clean, closed, and there's a roof on top of it. I never thought the stuff I put in there could be damaged in anyway.

Fast forward 2 years, I'm now back there and hopefully moving in my new place real soon. I went in the garage, almost by accident, and took a quick look at my stuff. Thing is, one of the top boxes is all black on one side, eaten by humidity. There's photo material inside the box. I also checked out some beautiful bed sheets I had, packed inside a plastic bag, and sure enough there's moisture on a good portion of it.

I couldn't take much more, and just brought the sheets back inside so I could wash them and see what the deal is. Well, deal is : those are fucked up for good. I now fear for all the stuff I had in there : old computer (not that I care much for the hardware itself, but there's a lot of content that I would have transferred to my laptop), lots of random stuff, and mostly, mostly there are a whole lot of boxes containing all my books, which are certainly one of the only valuable possession I have (and you guys know I don't own much).

If there's actually a humidity problem in there... I truly am fucked. I took a few days to get accustomed to the idea, but still I think I'm going to be really pissed/sad. I'm going back in there right now, trying to save what can be saved still.

Wish me luck.

Water damages update #1 :

I saved a whole box of books already, out of 2 or 3 packages. I had to throw away a lot of stuff, but at least there will be some leftovers, although they're not in the best condition, at least I can still read those.

My Daily Bread collection survived. Well, not everything, but like 90% of it. Funny thing is, the most ancient version survived, when the latest issues (thinner and with a softer cover material) litteraly drowned... Only had to throw a few mags away, even though it breaks my heart to get rid of them still.

Water damages update #2 :

Saved another box of books, and an extra one with pretty damaged ones that still hold a chance of survival. I'll try to dry them as much as possible and see what's up with those. They include some books that are actually worth a good amount of money, so I sure hope I can manage to reduce the damages.

CDs boxes are fucked up in 90% of the cases, don't know about how good the CDs can play still, but the boxes, covers etc. are gone for good. Breaks my heart, for real. Even Céline Dion couldn't make it safe, Titanic drowned a second time...

Now it's time to front the most costly damages : old computer and all the hardware that goes with it, and all the photo equipment. I'm afraid these are gonna be the worst, although I don't care as much as for my books, it's probably a good amount of money that I lost there.

Many people I know whose dumped water/beer/coffee into their laptops/cellphones/etc. saved the life of their machines by bathing them in destilled water and by putting them near a heater for a few days.

You can get this stuff at drug stores. Not shure if it’s appropriate for camera gear. I would not try this on lenses, that’s for shure...

The destilled water washes away the "real" water and therefore the components of a device aren’t corroding.

To be honest, the other thing I really miss is p-word. There will be a story in Be-Mag, but probably not focused only on the P&P tour, but featuring also different shots from France and its skaters.

The quality of some of the pictures submitted was an issue, and I didn't want to run an article about the tour, which travelled through 9 different countries, with pictures centered mostly on France, so I'll write something quite different than what I first thought...

No big deal though, there will still be stuff from the tour, and we will be runnning an article in French magazine Roll's has well... Plus I worked on a few things for Be-Mag's front page too (online articles), that look quite promising.

My man Hans will be glad to know that our homie Sylvain will get some of the exposure he deserves ah ah !!!

See, it seems like the postal guy delivered my fucking camera package to some business, in the same street.
