today was a good day.
military service is still a fucking joke, but i got the hang of it, which means i doubled the time of my breaks and no one gave a fuck.
i left 45 minutes earlier and went to the temp office to ask for a pay rise.
not sure yet if i got it, but i wouldn't have any trouble finding another job if they'll deny it.
then i went home, grabbed my blades and went for another hike & ride, followed by a little work out and to cool things off i went for a swim in the river.

I skated yesterday, and it was shit as well. Gawkers everywhere were cramping my style, and there was this heavy roofing material placed right in the landing for this rail I wanted to skate. I skated around my town twice trying to find spots where there weren't people all over, then I settled on skating this ledge that's a little too high for my taste, did a soul and some ao soyales and pstars and called it a day :?

Yeah, I got teh whitez. I don't want the same skates as my girl ;-) Hers are really nice though, stock black skate with white souls, black Fluids, Eulogy Soichiro wheels and pink 9mm antis. Might get her to get some black souls though.

Ramp is fun on bladez too (jedenfalls für einen Transition-Legastheniker wie mich), just a little bit more speed would be nice. I randomly found it when I first came to Australia five years ago and wanted to skate it ever since. My dream has come true.

Thanks! Topsoul is pretty much the only trick I can do though. And the frontflip guy always brings the lulz somehow, I love skating with him.

I switched to the suspensions because I hoped they'd help with the knee pain I get after skating. They don't suck nearly as much as I thought they would. I normally hate freestyle frames, but I like these better than the FLTs I was using before.
