after risking my military career by leaving my duty station (which is of utmost importance to national security) 3 hours (!) early, i found myself alone in lausanne at 3pm.
no freddy and no frenchies.
so i did some laps in the pool, went for a couple downhill runs through the city and eat a cheeseburger royale boeuf at the infamous cabane in vidy.
at about 7pm there was a french invasion as suddenly 19 wild frenchies (+ 1 american) appeared.
i had a chat with freddy, did some more laps in the bowl and then just sat back and enjoyed the remy meister show before i had to catch my train back home.
would do again.

I'm sorry we got there so late, you know how hard it is to get a group of 19 people rolling. I know I'll be back to Switzerland soon for sure, Bulle first, then Lausanne again hopefully.

Ok so cool story bro time. I was really tired after waiting for exam results yesterday when I was waiting for the bus at 7PM. I realised that my buspass ended 2 days ago and I've been riding without a ticket, so I got one. So I'm sitting in the bus, and 3 ticket controllers go in. I take the ticket out from my pocket, and I realise I didn't validate it when I was walking in (was too used to not doing it since I had a buspass for the last 6 months). So I have this mental image of cash disappearing from my bank account when they will check me. But I just sit there with a poker face, in my suit, holding the unvalidated ticket in my hand. The controllers are coming from both sides and are about to meet at my seat. The lady controller from the front checks the chick sitting in front of me, and the chick sitting next to me, and leaves me to the dude controller from the back. I was about to start talking that I didn't validate the ticket, but stayed poker face. The dude got to my spot and thought the lady already checked us all three. I hid my blank ticket in the pocket and the controllers left. FUCK YEAH

Now, if I had to sum up these past weeks/months real quick for you Fagz, I've been touring non stop basically, attended the NL comp in Strasbourg, Foch Invitational in Lyon, FISE contest in Montpellier, and Bowl Contest in Marseille this past week-end to finish things up. When not on the road, I spent time in Paris with my girl, and didn't get much sleep in the process. I barely even spent a week home for the past 2 months I believe.
